  My son's favorite part was when Maury would declare "You are NOT the father!" The kid would jump up and down with glee. And would actually be disappointed if the guy was declared the father.

  So glad he stopped watching that show.

  My youngest son has autism. He likes tv shows with high emotion like Jerry Springer and Hell's Kitchen. The yelling makes his giggle. For a while he was stuck on watching Maury Polvich. It took a while to get him to stop. We found other things and shows for him to focus on. But high emotion still fascinates him. I caught him giggling at a horror movie preview.

  There was a knock at the door....

  or more like a thunking sound really, which set our little dog into a fit of barking.

  i crawled out from behind the fridge where i was doing a repair on the waterline for the icemaker, so i could go see what all the commotion was about.

  i fugured it was going to be my neighbor returning my ladder but instead it was jw's handing out memorial invites.. the woman and the young man (her 20 something son) were people i had known but hadn't seen since we faded 4+ years ago.

  why do i refer to them as such?.

  1) they refuse to partake of the bread and the wine ; those who partake are said to be mentally diseased.

  2) jehovah's witnesses are the enemies of the cross ( phillipians 3:18 ) they shun what represents christianity.

  It's not the right kind of love Was. It never was.

  I haven't read the letter. I know it will hurt my heart. I might read it but in the meantime I'll hug and kiss my kids (and my inner child) a bit more.

  JW`s, volunteers spreading WT material Vs. Commercial Advertising material by people in letterbox drops

  people who deliver advertising material for distributors are in no way an employee of the distributor.the deliverer is an independant contractor.. what i am talking about here is dropping off advertising material for businesses in letter boxes house to house.the wording is such that in no way can a person who may be injured ,one way or another ,has any claim on the distributor .

  so my question is : isn`t this the same stance that the wtb&ts takes with each and every jehovahs witness who goes from door to door pedalling their message distributing their literature ?.

  they are not employees of the wtb&ts , they are volunteers who do this of their own violition and we have no obligation to be accountabile for anything that may happen to them in the course of their volunteering .

  How long do you wait in the waiting room at Dr's office?

  i have a friend that has pancreatic cancer and he just went to see the dr today at 10 am est.

  he said he will come here at my home after dr's appt.

  i texted him few mins ago but he did not reply back to me, maybe he turned his phone off since some dr's offices does not permit cell phone use.

  Congratulation!

  My daughter turned 13 three years ago. I didn't notice a change really. She's been moody since she was 5 and as I think back possibly earlier.
