  blockbuster, the nation's biggest movie rental company, plans to eliminate late fees on games and movies as of jan. 1. .

  blockbuster announced today it will continue to set due dates, with one week for games and two days or one week for movies.

  unofficially - yes but i think you have to jump through some hoops to prove you're a witness to get on those sites

  television listings and movie theatres are filled with lots of seasonal films now, and many dvds are also available for films from earlier years.

  i confess to having a difficult time selecting just one.

  among my favorites would have to be christmas vacation, with chevy chase.

  Has anyone read "1984" and seen the parallels?

  i was assigned to read 1984 by george orwell when in the eight grade i think.

  now forty years to late to turn in a 'book report' i am reading it.

  i see so many parallels to the witness org there.

  when i read "1984" (which i did in 1984 becuz the movie "1984' came out and i bought the "1984" album by the Eurythmics) i totally got the parallels. that book was just another brick in the wall to my leaving the bOrg.

  Does dying scare you?

  as jw dubs, we were sure we would live forever.

  when we left the organization, probably we all started to accept that paradise wouldn't be around the corner, and that we would probably die like everyone else around us.. how do you deal with the fact that you will one day die?

  when i finally realized that one day i would die it scared the bejesus out of me. i think i kinda got over it. now when i think about it i look at my kids and try to think that i really wont die but live on through them.

  i also like to think/hope that there maybe something after this life
