The location: the hall I used to go to is no longer owned by the society. The sold it to some muslins or hindus, I cant remember which my mother told me.
The people: a lot of the kids I grew up with are no longer in it - including children of elders.

Yep that's the word "reasonable". I'm sure those whose parents arent talking to them (myself included) feel that their parents (who mostlikely are jws) are being totally unreasonable.

our mother carried a wooden spoon in her purse and was quick to take us outside for beatings if we fidgeted.
i sat onstage in the kingdom hall in surrey, england, where my father's job had taken us.

"the pilot has turned blue (in the face)," the passenger said in the sms message, reuters quoted the television report as saying.

i just heard this statement in a sermon this morning and had to write it down:.
"complaining and arguing is about selfishness".
the more i looked at the words, the more i wondered.. how about you?
"Complaining" and "arguing" come from selfishness and lack of humility. We complain because we (vainly) think that we deserve better treatment, or a better position, or more recognition, or more compensation. Do you think that you are doing God a "favor" by serving Him? Do you think He needs you and your service? Note this: God does not need our service; rather, it is a great privilege that we would be called to serve the Creator of the universe, the Most High God.

i know that jws view df'd ones as the walking dead, but how do they view non-jws?
i thought that they considered them walking dead, too, but my mom says no.
can anyone clear that up for me?

is it truely a firey place of torment as some religions teach?
