  My Sister and my JW Mom...

  my sister was expecting a baby, due the first week of july.

  she lost it about 2 weeks ago, on a friday.

  my mother call me frantic, asking if i had spoken to my sister.

  as i was taking my shower this morning i was musing about certain posts i had read the day before.

  the one about the tampons just tickled me to no end.

  crazy stuff people will do to enforce whatever crazy ideas they have about human sexuality.

  Mental Migets

  yesterday, while i was folding and getting ready my papers for my saturday paper route, i was in the jw chatroom on yahoo.

  there were quite a few jws there (which has become an unsual thing - most diehard jw chatters have gone to paltalk where the control over a chatroom is more rigid) and i engaged a couple of these jws.

  i asked my usual stumper "is there any historical proof for the year 607 b.c.e.?

  my funny mother...

  told me that she had sent me a package of candies and cookies.

  i got one of the packages today.

  it consist of two small boxes, one with a red bucket of candy with a red heart on the front with a caption that says "wishing you a happy valentine's day!

  has anyone been watching "surreal life 4" on vh1?

  it's the funniest one yet.

  i just watched it last night and couldnt stop laughing.

  Yesteday...

  we decided to go to ohio to see family since there was no snow and so the kids could get their presents from their grandmother.

  before we left out my husband wanted to stop at his favorite eletronics store because they were having a really good sale on speakers.. we go to the store.

  hubby goes in, buys speakers, and comes out with the salesman to load the speakers into our van.. after the speakers are loaded the salesman tells my hubby he wants to give our kids something but it's in his car.

  Potty Tales...

  i worked when i had my first two kids and my babysitter pottytrained them.

  with my third child, shane, i was not working and the pottytraining was down to me, which i dreaded and had a hard time being consistant with his pottytraining routine.. it got pretty bad, with shane pooping on himself and at one point getting poop on the carpet in his room.

  around this time i was also pregnant with my fourth child and my mother decided that she would take the kids for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy.. mom and dad decided that they would get shane pottytrained.

  Finally....Hello everyone

  i've been a lurker for quite a while...had joined a couple of years ago and lost my password and finally today i got my new password to log back on the message board.

  a little bit about myself: i'm a 39 year old black woman, married 12 years come december (to the same man .

  i have just started to attend a church which i really enjoy and wonder upon wonders i did not melt upon crossing the threshold.
