What Made You Fall in Love With Your Husband/Wife/Lover ,Significant Other?
by flipper inhey all.
mr. flipper.
when in the witnesses, the fanciful thought is put forward that the main thing important in a marriage is the "threefold cord" having god in your marriage.

I would have to say it was his eyes, those beautiful blue eyes that attracted me to him first, he was 19, and I was 16. We have been married for over 30 years now. Two grown kids, one boy, one girl, and three grandkids. Our love has only gotten stronger for each other, especially in times when we have struggled with different issues. He still brings me flowers, and we still sign our cards to each other the same way. Love you Sweetheart.

He is sitting at the table with his own placemat, looking for tidbits, and no he does not always sit at the table, this was just for a picture. He has even had a bib on.

Lingerie Discussion
by pettygrudger inkay - nuff of the doom, gloom, flame wars & down right negativity - lets discuss women's lingerie!.
with the day of love coming up , i have a few questions for you folks (guys & girls - could get interesting).
seriously though, ladies, do you feel comfortable buying & wearing lingerie?
-

Men can be very visually stimulated, they like what they see, I would go out and buy something I think he would like to see me in, even if it was a bit uncomfortable, how long would it last on anyway. Also men or some men really do like getting romantic cards and flowers. I have always recieved flowers from the love of my life.

ATTN: JW'S...WHERE IS YOUR LOVE???????
by Jacqueline inwhere is the love that the societyclaims is amongst it's people?
i began studying january 2001. i had met a jw man that i truly fell in love with and found that i would at least look into the religion to see if it was for me.
i began studying with his sister, till she consciously no longer felt that she could continue studying with me, due to the fact that she did not approve of her brother dating me, since i was not a jw.

So sorry Jacqueline that you and hubby are going through this kind of treatment, especially you who has whole-heartedly put an effort forth to become apart of an org. that seems to only want to shun you. Plain and short, why waste your time and your hubbies time making an effort to be part of this org. who has shown you that they really do not show love. You and hubby may consider not putting more of your time and effort into something that seems futile. You will find many people here willing to openly share your love and concerns. Welcome. For one thing if their concern is based on making sure that you become a good christian, than it would not matter which or how many congregations you attend, Their concern would be that you receive as much spiritual encouragement as you could get. I sounds like they just want to control you, Which cong. to attend, etc. and to disallow you to go out in service in a car group, seems to be a slap in your face. Do what makes you happy for you and your hubby. Life is to short to pussy-foot around with such people.

Robyn,
Thank you so much for your kind words and advice, I really do appreciate your concern, and just knowing you care, made me feel much better today. I will try the calcium, maybe it will help. It was my hubby's e-mail address, but I use it as mine. Thanx sweetie.
The puppy.
P.S. Oh Kitty, you are such a dear friend, I could never be upset. Thanx, hope to see you tonight.

You are not alone, and it is very awful, even though not diagnosed with such, I get down periods more so from end of September till end of March. Sometimes it is really hard to get up in morning and face another day. I am sad very much of the time, and there seems to be no let up. I try to control it, but the older I get the harder it is. It is also very lonely.
