Well has anyone had to cope with a man who is going through MID-LIFE CRISIS?
I am sure that is no picnic either Ha Ha!
puts plugs in his ears from the start.. now, it don't seem to be my imagination, but many ladies for some inexplicable reason seem a tad unreasonable at least once a month where anything i do seems to be wrong in their eyes.
most ruddy irksome it is from a guys point of view i can tell ee.
here we are, quite happy in our own right, say something to this here balmpot, and wowwwwww irritable utterances just tumble forth with such degrees of unreasonableness tis almost funny to observe, but dare i laugh in their presence whilst she be in this most unpredictable of states?

hello..........oh dear.. into the lair of the apostates i tread!.........
Welcome to the board ScoobySnax.
You will find alot of really nice people here.
i have been reading this board since right before dateline.. i want to say thanks to simon for this great website!
i want to thank bill bowen, sheila bowen, barbara anderson, joe anderson, the pandelos, erica rodriguez, and all of the other silentlambs who have spoken out!.
i have some questions.. does anyone have any information about a circuit overseer named orval ellis (he used to be the co in arkansas, and then oklahoma, and just now colorado).
HI! Undisfellowshipped, and WELCOME.
for me, it was the nfc championship game three years ago in order to attend the meeting, then, on top of that, the elders had *scheduled* a meeting for that day as well, to discuss the co visit.
then there was a "supplemental" elder's school held a few years back that took me away from the afc title game.
oh, i taped the stuff, but time-shift recording of sports just doesn't cut it.
Alot of HAPPINESS.
this should be a fun thread.. one of the funniest things i can remember out in "service" .
was 2 other guys and myself in a car.
so we take turns going to the door alone.
I Meant I was driving a TRUCK at the time, guess I am not quite awake yet.

I remember going to a house when out is sevice, I was driving a car at the time, so only a few could go togeather, well I went to get out and caught my heel of my shoe on truck, and fell out of the truck instead of just nicely getting out OUCH.
That got a few laughs, than some sympathy.
who here has been married...10 years or more?is it a great marriage and what is the secret of keeping it together?
Been married 31 years this year.
Secret to Marriage, well compassion for each other, trusting one another, spending time alone togeather, communication, common respect for each other, having humour, being able to laugh and cry togeather, sticking togeather through the rough times and the good. Believe me there are some rough times, but you try to work through it togeather. Allowing each to have there own space and friends. Play togeather. We have really been togeather almost 35 years counting our dating time. I believe our marriage will last a very long, long time. Just don't try to change each other, let each other be who you are.
Everyone has arguements, we have had ours to, but now we just look at each other and start laughing. Things always seem to get worked out. My hubby is a real sweet man, and I really can't see myself being without him.
i had a conversation with an active witness from the usa lately.
and when talking about child upbringing he stated that some children need a spank sometimes.
of course i was upset because of that, and i didn't thought witnesses was that stupid.
I'm reading this post, what Larc has said, and realize that some people here have totally misunderstood his point he was making, his child was a toddler, not old enough to understand a verbal discussion on not putting his hand in the outlet. Maybe if the child was older he would understand, but he was a toddler. I do not believe in spanking children either, but I think he handled the situation in the proper way that he saw fit to. If my child went to put his/her hand in an outlet, I would have done the same thing. this is only my opinion. It was far better then the child being harmed by what he was about to do. Some have made it sound like he beat his child, I really don't think that was the case here.
thats right.... i am finally done with my 1947 harley chopper.... 3 years of building has come to an end.
you thought i was leaving here?
hehe.
Real Nice Bike. I really like bikes.
Good looking family. We live next door to bikers, they all have harley's, they are really sharp bikes. They really have alot of pride in taking care of those bikes.
The only bike I have ever been on is a MO-PED, if you can call that a bike.
what type of personality do you really have?
do you have the same personality in person that you do on-line?
some of us here seem to be rather private and others appear to be very good at communication.
For the most part, I am very shy.
I do have a sense of Humour though.I love to joke around. But really only feel comfortable around people I know. Once I get to know someone, I tend to open up more.
I tend to have difficulty trusting people, I guess I have been hurt to much by some people.
