I smoked two packs a day for several years my self. When I quit, it was purely by accident. One night at a bachelorette party, I ran out of my cigs. So my friend offered me her Camel unfiltered. I smoked half her pack in about a 4 hour period. Mixed with a few Fosters oil cans, a few rounds of tequila and other assorted shots, I was bowing before the porcelain god for about 24 hours. My gut hurt, my head hurt, my lungs hurt, even my teeth hurt for some weird reason. I felt like a walking train-wreck. It was about 2 weeks for a ciggie to even smell good, so I didn't pick em back up. I figured by then I might as well stop for good. After a week, it's all mental addiction anyway...no more physical.

I smoke on occassion now but only if I've been drinking. Come to think of it, the only times I smoke are at apostofests.

So my advice? Bottoms up on some good tequila and other shots mixed with beer chasers. You'll be done in no time.

I saw VH with Sammy in concert in Kansas about 10 years ago. One of the best concerts ever! The man had the energy of two twenty-year olds. I guess that's what was so exciting about him. That and all the sexy curly hair that was flyin' everywhere.

*despondent sigh*

Yes, I realize the man is old enough to be my father, but he's still hot!!!

I am a Christian that believes God has used evolution to create this world. I do not understand why more Christians find Christianity and evolution difficult to bridge. It doesn't seem that difficult.

My Crazy Mother learns a lesson

yesterday (monday) i was off school and work, and i told my mother i would go out in service.

so monday morning i got up, got dressed, drove to the hall, and there was no one there.

i fell asleep in my car while i waited, woke up to wave at a brother, then fell back asleep, and then woke up, looked around and left.

My parents were also amazed at how many of my worldly friends came to my aid when I was kicked out of the house. One of them helped move me with only a few hours notice! Both of my parents were worldly before joined da Troof as adults, so I guess I can't understand why they find this so shocking. I know they remember being decent people before joining the bOrg. I know they remember having decent friends. Weird.

Anyways, I'm glad you have people outside of there to rely on. If I had extra money, I'd get you a car. It might only be a jalopy, but something to drive that was your own.

I am gluten-intolerant, which is an allergic reaction to the protein found in wheat, oats, barley, and rye. So any pasta, bread, cookies, etc. that I eat are rice or tapioca based. But I don't even eat that much of that. I have found eliminating the processed carbs from my diet, make me feel healthier than I've ever been.

I'm trying to drink lots of water, but that's a struggle for me. Anyone have a creative way to drink water???

Thinking about moving to Texas
