This is disquieting, a coworker "borrowed" my file
by AlmostAtheist ini keep a manila folder for each project i'm working on in a wire rack on my desk.
it's a stairstep kinda dealy do i can easily see all their little tabs poking up, volunteering information about their contents.
quite cool, i love it.. a coworker stopped by my desk just now and mentioned that he'd grabbed one of my folders and gave it to a tester.

Dave,
I think you have a valid reason to be annoyed. I would be too. And unfortunately for me, I might not be as humorous or diplomatic as you. But I respect the fact that you handled it so cool. It's an example I know I need to follow.

I had been scared to tell my wife, scared of what It might open, but she reacted very nicely. She had known all the time, and she was glad that I finally allowed my self to embrace ”my” life and allowing her to be free to have hers. I regret though for not allowing it to happen sooner, but I was honestly not able to face it until now. I also went to a psychitrist for more than a year, and it helped me a lot. We’ve resolved to be best friends, having shared such a long time together, having children we must care for etc. I think it will work out for the best.
InquiryMan,
I am so glad to hear that things parted so nicely with you. I hear many times this doesn't happen. So look at that as such a blessing!!! Do not regret that you didn't do things earlier. We move our Life into action when we're ready...we make the best decision we possibly can make at that time. Things WILL work out for the best.
I wish you continued peace in your life!

Cindy,
Growing up, my father would regularly spank me with a belt, with NO CLOTHES on period. Not just my pants down, but completely naked. That happened until well into my teen years and if I was on my menstrual cycle it didn't matter. Clothes were gone.
As an adult, in talk therapy, a counselor helped me understand that my father would be considered not just an abuser, but a sexual abuser. Making a child strip so they can be spanked or beaten, is only about control and humiliation. Much like a rapist.
I wish I could give you something more tangible in terms of help, but do WHATEVER POSSIBLE to get your children out of that home. WHATEVER.

i am so bored with business. i really think that it is a great part of my depression.
Joel, I realized that about six months ago. But it's something I can't get rid of. I HAVE to have a job until I get my photography going. And the only jobs I have hirable skills for are sales (blech) and admin stuff (yawn). I'm constantly looking for inspiration and pushing paperwork is not inspiring to me. (Go figure!)
I've decided that in order for me to consistently feel inspired, are to be around other inspiring and creative souls and/or their work. I'm seriously thinking about getting a membership to the local museum just for starters.

Gwen,
Omg, what fabulous news!!! I love hearing people from the board getting together like this. Honestly, since you two have been together so long, I've always looked at you like you were already married. Ha!
Blessings,

Joel,
I can't say I left out of boredom, but you have described me here:
repetition and limits
I get bored very easily. In a job, once I figure out all the responsibilities and have the position running like a well-oiled machine, I check out. Mentally, emotionally, I can't hack things anymore. I need lots of stimulation to keep me going and I think that's why I struggle with my career so much. Until I get my photography up and running enough to pay the bills, I think I'll always be unhappy with any job I have.neither are compatible with growth. smart, creative people thrive on growth.

OMG, Cindy, I am heartbroken to read those words from your kids. I wish I could help you. I have nothing. I'm so sorry.
