JWs and Domestic Violence
by Amha·aret ini remember when i was in my early teens finding out about a jw brother who was hitting his jw wife.
her parents were also witnesses and were disgusted with his behaviour (and rightly so).
i was completely shocked at the time, thinking those kinds of things just didn't happen among a loving brotherhood.

DF and shunning to end soon...jw numbers will triple
by oompa inrecently at the beach house with my df studly son...a carload of young jw's in service drove by and saw us...old friends of his/me...they turned around and stopped...hugs and all!...i loved them treating him so human.
most dubs now hate to shun...esp.
their own family and there is less and less of it...my own mom will not shun my son, but dad will...she just told me she has no prob treating my son as just her normal grandson because she believe no kids should be allowed to be baptised!....i love you mom!

ip_sec.......i know oompa personally, have for years. know his current wife and former, know both sons, parents....to tell him him to get a new wife and new friends?.....i like and agree with most of your posts... but not this one...dont be an ass....to dump a wife over religious differences?...cant people agree to disagree and get on with life?...together?..i dont agree with everything my friends or wife think or believe in, but im not leaving her because of that..no offense personally, you seem ok, except that remark.

a year or so ago they also said it was imminent....and in 1969 they swore it was just a few years away............so for a fds that claims godly direction...he sure has gotten them lost a bunch on this path to everlasting life....funny...not once did he do that to his org.

there are even some andy griffith shows that make me cry..... i wrote a song that almost always makes me cry when i play it....but cant post it as it would totally out me...in case my other revealing threads have not...tired of the game.....oompa.
i know it is pathetic...but sleepless in seattle make me cry...and ya...i love the soundtrack................. .

also, the last episode of M.A.S.H. nearly killed me.
also, Law and Order S.V.U. a couple of weeks ago(stabler's daughter's mental illness) made me cry like a baby. i lost a sibling a few months ago due to a mental illness related suicide, so anything related gets to me.

i do same as ynot, but contribute to local hall a small. congo is 70% retired and most on limited income(only 80 pubs. w/60-70 regular attendees). feel guilty to make them pay light bills & mortgage, i make more than all but one family. dont help much, tho and NOTHING EVER goes to world wide work. i know how much those cocksuckers have coming to their coffers each month and how valuable their real estate is.
