Quit looking at my butt!!!!!!

ya know those days when you know you should have stayed in bed?.

i had to go to the grocery store, as i was walking in i noticed a man and a woman behind me and both were looking at my butt.. it's a nice butt but usually doesnt get much attention.

i resisted the urge to brush the back of my pants off till they were inside and out of sight... i did and didnt feel anything... later on in the store i got that " feeling" that somene was behind me.. turned around and a woman was looking at my butt.

Candidly--that is a funny story! At the same time, it's surprising no one was kind enough to mention the blue stain in your rear to you.

did anyone else see big love last night?

when nicky's mom found her with the runaway and denounced her and disowned her, it was so familiar to me and i am sure many others.

it showed the pain nicky felt when her mother turned her back on her even though she was just trying to do what she thought was right.

The actress who plays Bill & Joey's mom is a riot!!!

When Nikki was called an "apostate" and you could just read the hurt in her face. Chloe Sevigny is such a good actress. She plays that part so well.

That is actually a part when I held back tears. Chloe is great, I agree.

Dad is doing good..

first of all i want to say thanks to all those sending good thoughts/vibes and even prayers!.

my dad made it through 7 hours of surgery, he did loose quite a bit of blood but he's a tough old man and is hanging in there.

the stroke affected the left side of his body, the doctor thinks he will have some loss of function on his left side, but until he actually wakes up fully and goes thru therapy we really won't know.. i don't know if it's because i'm a nurse or if the nurses and doctors were tired of dealing with the jw's and my mom, but they gave the ok for me .

Loved it! I won't give away anything, and instead, just describe the atmosphere a bit.

The theater was packed with 30 & 20 something's '80s kids all grown up. There were claps at various times from the crowd (are we that corny?) and cheers. Much excitement from me when the cop car (forget the name) did his thing, and of course, Optimus Prime. All I kept thinking was, "I HAVE got to go toy shopping ASAP!!!" for my son, of course.

Anyone taking kids, it's fine so long as they can sit down and shut up for 2 1/2 hours. I chose to go without.

I bumped this thread since Jourles first told me about it. Thanks.

I saw it and cringed all the way through.

Now, I've never been through any JC or DF'ing, or heck, even baptism-but, I also cringed SO much last night! There were goosebumps on my arms.

Then, when Rhonda ran away at the end, I thought, that's the only way to get out as a minor, to run away and start life from scratch, freedom included.

If you think about it, the compound itself is like the inside of a KH ...and the way Nicky kept defending it. All the blackmailing going on, her father manipulating things behind the scene, his "police", etc. etc.

Yes. The kangaroo court, "UEB"/BOE, rewards like an additional wife = positions in the cong., & hiding the truth from authorities of what really goes on, making it all look like something it's not.

Yes, what an excellent episode!!!! I almost cried, too. As usual, similarity after similarity with the fundy mormons and jw's. They presented the different situations so well.

i heard on the news that one of our brightest stars - beverly sills - died last night of lung cancer.

she was a brilliant singer as well as a wonderful human being.
