i have met him - he is getting old now but he's no less intelligent or fascinating.
some 40 years ago he wrote a well respected book called "a practical guide to qabalistic symbolism".

'Things'. life, everything is not what it appears to be to the naked, uninformed human eye.
Having had a few strange or even 'mystical' experience and spent several years trying to find out why I knew things had happened, and what I must or mustn't do, I realised that there must be a logical reason for everything!
Only quantum physics has the answers.
my parents (jw's) have 4 small grandchildren between the ages of 5 and 8. they recently went on a trip and brought back presents for 3 of the kids but left out one because they "didn't have time to find anything".
my sister was very upset and refused to accept the present for her daughter if they had nothing for her son.
my parents thought she was making a big deal out of nothing and since gifts are voluntary, technically, they don't have to buy them for any of the kids and can do so as they choose.
That's the kind of thing my husband's JW parents would do.
They would, (when we still spoke to them) invite our children's cousins round, two little girls and our children. Then they would have a show of giving the girl cousins presents and nothing for our children, saying that there were too many of them. (We have five children).
Anyway, we soon put a stop to that!
We no longer accepted invitations or invited them and I told them firmly what was 'wrong' with them so that they understood our reasoning.
Wonderful feeling of empowerment to cut condescending arse holes out of your life PERMANENTLY!
Britain has not only dropped down the toilet......I can hear the sound of flushing!
This country has disintigrated into an everyday living nightmare.
People can non longer call a spade a spade.
The establishment is so busy protecting the rights of criminals that you begin to wonder if they are just trying to defend themselves and stop everyone pointing out the obvious any more.
We are being taxed and prosecuted to death by a corrupt government!
Who's going to rescue us because in a few more years it will be the British who are needing the kind of aid that the people of Burma are needing now as food, fuel, heating, light and even free speech are stolen from this country!
Time to get a pass port for the rest of the family and think about moving on!

They were just beginning 3D pictures when we had our last baby, 9 years ago. How things progress!
And, 23 years ago, they wouldn't even allow dad's into the scanning room!! Wonderful how things develop and change in hospitals.

I'm laughing wickedly now, as we know couples in their 30's who have had their first children recently........and I thought it was difficult to recover from lack of sleep when I was 21 and had my first........lack of sleep for 30+ folk is not a pretty sight!!!! It is because of theories like this one that the realisation that consciousness and therefore 'life' never ends has become more acceptable and understandable. Understanding of reincarnation is gaining approval and acceptance because of quantum physics.
If consciousness does not exist before conception and birth then we are not able to 'observe'. Because we 'observe' them then things exist, therefore if we 'died' it would end our consciousness.
Therefore, consciousness never ends and we have neither a beginning or an end.
There is no 'death' as such of whatever we really are......whatever really inhabits our frail and mortal bodies, live forever.

Confuscious - In the UK, petrol / gas is going to reach six pounds or nearly $11 dollars by the end of the year.
The government has signed a treaty with the UK that may well increase our heating and lighting costs for every family by another three thousand pounds or over $5000 a year MORE than we pay now.
Food inflation is at between 11 % and 15 % depending on which report you read.
And yet, the UK rolls on..........but only for now.
We're going to reach a point where people will not be able to afford to GO to work ie travel because it is just too expensive.
We will struggle to transport food.
Why? Because 70 % of our petrol / gas price is tax to the government.
Why does the governement need so much money? Because some of the missiles they are using in War zones cost 60 000 pounds a shot!
We all have idiots ruling us and there's nothing we can do about it!
If you vote someone else in, they're equally as stupid!
The answer?
Not even God knows!
The good days are over and I'm sorry that we didn't buy a house with a massive garden because we may well all be growing our own food if we can.
Some days you think there might be an answer but the answer may well be one that we just don't like because it is too terrible to contemplate.
Maybe it's time for us to roll back to the stone age again.
Greater civilisations than ours, far more advanced, have come and gone.
Maybe it's out turn to turn off the lights!
how long will religions claiming to worship god - tolerate the abuse of children , and try to hide it ?
catholics, jehovah's witnesses, mormons - my wife and i discussed it and i'm starting to feel that there is something about the stunted views of religions about sex in general that creates these monsters of sexual child abuse !
do we not just hear about the non-religious child abusers ?
Qcmbr - It is important to remember that our children are individuals in their own right and DO NOT BELONG TO US to do what we will with.
Children need respect and love and a right to freedom and only the state can protect them from certain parents who would deny them those rights.
Too many parents are bad!
Think of the Muslim countrys where girls are regularly murdered by their families for supposedly 'shaming them'.
Think of Indian countrys and China where baby girls are murdered en masses simply for being girls.
Children do NOT belong to their parents and the sooner we all accept this and realise that the family can be the breeding ground for every sort of evil that there is, the sooner we can accept that in countrys where governments step in to attempt to protect children the sooner we can all accept the respect that children really deserve.
