Why is Hope a good quality?

looks like someone on this forum hates this word hope.

hope is a great thing to have for all christain.. it is one of the best things a true christain can have.. the bible gives us alot of hope.. lets use it in our everyday lives.

we have bible understanding threw research do we not?

Once again I see someone trying to ask a question and then assume that I am not meek. At least give me a chance to explain before assumptions and accusations are made.

I see the Orginization as a religion. The Orginization provides orginization to the religion which is all backed up by the Bible.

It is good to be rightious by having the standards that are set up by Jehovah (The God that inspired the scriptures to be written). Of course men had to do the physical writting for Jehovah. So maybe Jehovah wants to inspire an orginization set up by Jesus?

I hope I never see people come to an understanding that being rightious is the way to go.

And to those who still think there are a heaven or hell when you die (trinity). What happened to all those people who died before Jesus was sacrificed? They were in a void of some kind? Or did they go hell (which is not hellfire) but only the common grave.

Im sure they are asleep still; waiting for the end of this system to shortly pass away.

The Perfume Issue

many people still keep forgetting to throw away the perfumes and strong fragrances at my hall.

it is a big thing in some congregations to wear it.

i have heard that most churches stay away from it.

Not being able to figure out who has what on is not hard to do.

The only people that should change fragrences could be the ones that make me have a huge migraine out when they pass by me.

I am sure soap has just a few things in it compaired to mass produced chemicals.

CULT CULT CULT

i have read many opinions about jw's being a cult.a dictionary describes cult as a system of religious beliefs and ritual .. some have viewed even major religions as a cult, such as the roman catholic church.based upon webster almost anybody or anything that is viewed as ritualistic could be said to be cultic.when someone tries to negate jehovah's witnesses by using.

the "cult" word, i believe they are not seeing that many others could legitimately be regarded as a cult or at least "cultic".therefore the word loses alot of meaning.

some have said that the watchtower is a cult because of the control factor.

Maybe this topic should be in the adult section since people love to call Jehovahs people names besides cult?

SITTING STILL

it's sort of a torture thing, povided by the jw cult for little children............ and if they don't comply,......... off to the womens bathroom they go.

any squirming or movement, other than sitting straigt up, is a possible offence, requiring a punishment.

inside the women's bathroom, various tools come forth, out of the mother's bag............ wooden spoons and other tools........ alot of the mothers pull the childs pants down, in front of everyone, and beat the child with the rod.... .

Now we have the perfect substitute for perfume. How can I tell this to someone who still thinks perfume is better.

We should ask the perfume companies why we should use those chemicals that are used for the dead such as famaldahide.

as with other fundamentalist cults, the watchtower goes by the bible advice only when it comes to exposing crimes regarding children or anyone else, that there must be two or more witnesses to a crime.

since abuse and molestation are rarely seen by anyone other than the perpetrator and the victim (and the victim will rarely testify against himself), perhaps hundreds or thousands of cases have gone unpunished, and the perpetrator has not been brought to the police, and the congregation has not been told.

Thanks for the advice!! This kind of crime is cycled around since most people who were sexually abused will most likely do the same.

I mearly attempted to persuade others that this cycle of crime could be stopped.

I also added that this crime could be prevented more so than taken to court. Im sure most people that were mistreated hate to go to court. The least they could do is speak out. I never said that the one abused should stay quiet. Very nice of daisy to add such great comebacks. Maybe you should be a lawyer?

One way could be to buy the expensive better brand. It would be better than the less expensive mass produced toxic stuff. So anyone that cant stand the people using the toxic stuff might have to buy some of the good stuff.

Anyone have some better suggestions???
