hi everyone, this may be the stupidest post ever.
i am stumped for an answer and would love to hear your opinions, though.
every week or two for the last couple of years, i have a dream--or at least that's what i'm calling it--that consists of me waking up or thinking that i've waked up, and seeing the ceiling of my darkened bedroom filled with algebraic equations.
You are experiencing equation deficiency syndrome. Several equations will give you that forbidden sensation of witnessing real world sorcery.

do the individual article writers have persistently opposing views, or do they each just flip-flop between opposing views?.
what have you observed?.
if the witnesses have the truth and have been going to meetings for many years and every week they learn how to be effective in the ministry and learn about the bible on sundays and every week have a family worship night, why are they afraid to talk to anyone who doesn't agree with them or question their beliefs?
if they have the truth then nothing can refute it.

They do not have the first thing approaching the generally accepted definition of truth. They falsely advertise their afterlife product. It is the same degree of fraud as when they dare to breathe the word "accurate". They simply have no practiced, experienced, lived, vetted, calibrated, sensation of what truth is. It is just a ho 'nother planet.
i don't know how many of you still participate in the sunday wt study, but i unfortunately still do.
even though i was asleep half of the time, i did notice something i thought i should share with the rest, in case you haven't noticed.
a lot of the paragraphs were worded strongly against partaking and used clear language of intimidation and discouragement toward anyone thinking of partaking.
is anything holy?.
i would maintain that holiness can only come from the attitude of people ascribing something as holy.
holiness never comes from the "holy" object, spirit or humans described as being holy..
one of the main trigger points who brought me to decide to officially separate myself from the jw org.by very recenly sending my letter of dissociation was reached when i became fully aware that the jw.org is standardizing their flock with their repeated manipulations and new lights instead of uniting them with love.

and once fully standardized according to the jw.org standards it is very difficult for a jw to have normal and human contact with "worldly" not standardized people.. thanks for reading and take care..
Hm, interesting. The phrase "united in love" in the hands of the cult could be taken to mean a gaussian distribution of like-minded persons that cluster around some median appreciation of what Jehovah's organization is doing on earth. Or, maybe like-minded persons who cluster around the median pace of Jehovah's celestial chariot and do not lag behind it nor run ahead of it. Statistical outliers can be clipped (sigma clipping) or disfellowshipped to preserve the narrative fiction / fictional narrative that Jehovah's people occupy the central two standard deviations and are therefore representative of what Jehovah wants.
Relatedly, standardization of inputs, machinery and processes in an assembly line reduces overhead and improves economies of scale. A standardized cart-stander-by-person is replaceable, interchangeable, reprogrammable, re-excitable, re-distractable, re-deceivable, re-defraudable.
while discussing being mistreated by my own jw family last night with my wife, i wanted to try to make her think critically about what shunning really is, and at its root what how beneficial it is.
earlier in the day i sent her non-apostate scholarly article on religious shunning being tantamount to psychological torture.
and most witnesses don't think into much about why they do things, its more of a "this is the way we do it, don't over think it" process.
I find a little more clarity in the mechanism of shunning by configuring that WTS holds your family and circle of friends hostage, and will execute them (socially) if you make the wrong move. As far as analogies go, You cannot be dead to Them because You are permitted to speak back to Them, as if from the grave. But they are not permitted to speak back to you, if from the grave. There is no confirmation of afterlife, as it were, when your family and friends still in the cult are executed. The lever or moment arm that the WTS has over you is the power to prevent You from hearing Them. Not Them hearing You. Not much different from a Black Hole, out of which no information emerges. The threat they hold over you is to kick you out of that black hole, so that your family and friends are inaccessible and dead to you. If you are shunned, you are the survivor and they have executed all those you once loved. They did as they threatened for all those years - they killed your family. (I've had a lot of time to chew on how to think about this. ) YMMV

as fans of the walking dead know, our heros have found sanctuary (or have they) at alexandria, a seemingly normal safe zone from the walkers/rotters/etc.
this past episode had rick's 'family' invited to a 'welcome to the community' cocktail party, hosted by deanna, the leader of the community.. having entered alexandria, we're starting to see the different levels of ptsd in our little group.

Walking Dead maintains a zombie equation of state or zombie equilibrium function that is finely tuned to provide maximum plot exclamation for minimal plot relevance. The WTS tasks itself, like the writers and producers of some fantasy show, to always populate its grand stage with just the right amount of appropriately timed appearances of demons, satans, smurfs, leprechauns, worldly people, spiritual vampires, ad nauseum.
over the years, i've come to notice that some of the friends will not touch the plate with the bread or the cup of wine ,when the emblems are being passed around.
i remember a row of 3 people told the brother to skip over them.
every year i have noticed this behavior.
