In 2022 the WTS, adjusted the UN's role "Yes, Jehovah will motivate the nations to use the scarlet-colored wild beast, that is, the United Nations, to turn on the world empire of false religion and completely destroy it." So it does mean the UN will act on their own, but the nations with influence the UN to do it.

Rainbow 🌈 Law Makers will turn on Religion NOT the UN
by JohnTron7 init should be starting to become more clear to people what i've stated for years on this site.
the threat against religion that becomes pivotal will come from lgbtq politicians forcing through " hate crime" bills aimed at religions.
in the past i have had a " maybe" statement from only one commenter.

How about having a special undercover mode so PIMOs can browse the site with greater security?
by Island Man inwhen you visit the site it says jehovahs-witness big and bold.
a pimo might be browsing the site and a jw might come up behind him unexpectedly and notice he's visiting a site about jws other than jw.org, which can lead to the pimo reported for viewing apostate information.. to help remedy this risk, i was thinking about the possibility of having a button that activates an undercover mode where the title of the site is not prominently displayed so it's not easily apparent to an accidental eavesdropper that it's an apostate website.
also, the color-scheme and graphics can be different so that it doesn't look like the regular site.

Just make sure that a believing jw in your household, or visits does not have your passwords. And do not give out too many person details about yourself or congregation because elders or other jws do read JWN and other such groups.

Reddit post about elder asking congregation for money to fix his car!
by LongHairGal inyes, there’s a post on reddit.
it says that after a zoom meeting a request was made to baptized publishers to give $20 apiece to fix this elder’s car.. while this sounds highly irregular to me and not necessarily approved by the religion, i am not at all surprised at the nerve.
this, unfortunately, seems to be the direction that things are going there!

Now that is something I didn't hear very much, only once and to help a family with a non-jw husband they wanted to be impressed by their helpfulness. Other the WTS advises that the congregation will not donate money to individuals, but privately jws can do that themselves. Though, one elder body wanted to donate money to get flowers for a woman who had moved to another congregation (she had a lot of money and had donated alot) for flowers for her funeral; they had never done that for anyone else, even in their congregation. One elders spoke up that if each elder wanted to donate out of their pocket, but unless they put it to the congregation elders could not secretly make a donation using congregation money without a resolution being passed; that shut that down. But if that elder had no spoken up, it would have been done." The only other time was before the WTS funding the COs cars, announcements would be made that he needed a new car and had racked up some serious medical bills, and that jws in that circuit should try to donate to help him out or he would have to leave the "circuit work." But then BOEs will make their own rules despite what the WTS says. BOEs are go up against the WTS more often than other jws know.

Confirmed: CO Discourages Zoom
by XBEHERE ini can confirm that the co during one of his service talks stated that zoom is a provision for elderly, infirmed, as well as people who might need it on occasion due to health reasons, otherwise you are expected to be in person at meetings and in the ministry.
this had to come down from the top.
maybe they do not want to put it in a gb update or broadcast since that would be too public i suppose.

Actually, the elders received a letter as to how they were to discourage the use of Zoom, and the qualifications to use it and that the COs were going to also "suggest" members go to the KH. Much the same as it was when "qualified" jws could listen in on the meetings on the telephone. The elders were to make sure that elderly and properly ill jws were approved and a password given to them that expired every month and "cautioned strongly" not to share the password with anyone else. Perhaps, you could contact the poster here, Atlantis, to get a copy sent to you online of that letter to the elders.

R & F JW's ARE agents of the org....

23 the spirit, the organization, and the word - his theocratic organization recognizes your authority from his word, the bible.
so it uses you as one of its representatives in the field and it co-operates with you, supplies your needs, and renders you assistance..

Journeyman, I agree that 1951 is going back too far for most jws to view as valid. What I do is see what has been said later, as current as possible, so jws don't say there is a new view on it. Not that elders haven't used that on me, and then I would point out that this had been discussed in an article just a few months ago. I got silence after that. Probably to busy to read their own "spiritual" guidance from the GB.

Of course, XBEHERE, the WTS uses the word "encourage" but if you choose not to be "encouraged" you are going against god's direction from their god's representative on earth.

Regional Convention Attendance
by XBEHERE inelder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).
he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.
co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.

Someone put a invitation to the regional convention in this area. Being held at an Assembly Hall. Never thought to see that day. Built only to hold one circuit which consisted of a max of 1500, so all could find a seat. More than that would be a nightmare, beyond the other nightmares to be found there.

God, Jesus, & Holy Spirit - never mentioned together in one authentic verse.
by BoogerMan inin every scripture where god & jesus appear, the holy spirit is always awol/mia.. probably explains the existence of binitarians..

boogerman, the WTS did try legally to change it but seemed to have failed, since they stopped using that phrase and specifically told congregations not to use that on KH signs. KM 4/1979 p. 4 " ● Is it appropriate to have a Kingdom Hall sign saying: “Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Christian Witnesses”? So there will be uniformity, the Society encourages all to make their signs read: “Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” Also, that is probably why the WTS changed to Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses too. Last time that phrase was used as a direct term was in 1986.

God and Unicorns
by Sea Breeze inatheist scientists now agree that "elasmotherium sibiricu" lived with humans.
all they had to do was read their bible to know that.
job 39:9 “will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?”.

Hahaha, I saw that picture and I remember that word being used in the bible. The WTS uses the phrase "wild bull" in their translation, with an explanation in a 1992 WT. There are many reasons on found online about were there unicorns, if so why not any today, how the unicorn missed the boat--ark, etc.

How does God communicate with Jehovah's Witnesses?
by Vanderhoven7 ingilles gray writes:.
the short answer is, god communicates with jehovah’s witnesses very poorly indeed.. jehovah’s witnesses are the first to affirm that god doesn’t directly communicate with them at all.. however, this fact doesn’t stop them from making the baseless assertion that god communicates to them through reading the bible, through holy spirit and through their leaders (known as the governing body, or the faithful and discreet slave).. here is a claim made by one of the first leaders of the watchtower organisation:-.
communication through reading the bible.
