Help wanted finding images
by Lee Marsh ini am working on a project that requires proofs that the wts did say it and jws believe and follow it.. i have found some but google is giving me a hard time with some things.. as i go i will post requests for various images.
they all must have a reference or at least post where i can find the reference and i will add it to the image.. both older and newer beliefs are welcome, especially flip-flops.. if you have something similar to what is already posted then more references the better.
i know there are images of the structure of the wts.

Yes, Lee, you can still "hang them with their own words." The WTS just quits mentioning those words, and hopes the jws either weren't in the WTS then, and the ones that were have convenient memories.

Disfellowshipped, Seeking Reinstatement
by NotFormer indo disfellowshipped ones who want to be reinstated still have to sit up the back of the kingdom hall, away from everyone else, not allowed to speak to anyone?.
when did you realise that it wasn't worth it and finally decided to stop playing the game?.
is your life better now?.

Questions From Readers: "Since it is not required that a disfellowshipped person sit at the back of the hall, there should be no objection if a disfellowshipped child sits next to his parents, wherever they are sitting." WT 8/15/13 p. 8
(this includes non-minor children living at home).

I have mentioned in the past, that the WTS has a lot of their net/gross worth in property, etc. Now cash, especially available cash, not so much. Cash flowing is a necessary thing, using property as collateral is an iffy situation when applying for loans (yes the WTS takes out loans from non-jw sources). I am not an investment expert, but..the WTS does invest their money, and so far, the revenue from those investments have been up and down and down drastically in some periods, making breaking even a plus for them. (remember 2008) I do believe that many jws are not leaving but they are voting with their wallets, not donating to the WT organization, so far donations can be anonymous (that is eroding now too). Many jws income has gone down too, and big donations from "wealthy" jws. I feel that if on an average that number of jws gave $10 a month, what would that be. More than big donations from a few. Yes, the WTS is cutting back on services, making the congregations pick up the slack. In this area, the regional conventions were all scheduled at the assembly hall. Yes, the rent goes directly into the WTS pockets. I'm sure others on here know of other saving procedures the WTS has been taking.

In the past, there was much said about the WTS status as a non-governmental organization associated with the UN and the WTS did that to qualify for the benefits/support the UN gives to those organizations. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)They include international charities such as OXFAM and Save the Children, research institutes, churches, community-based organizations, lobby groups and professional associations.
What has the WTS said about what the identity of the UN is?https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/502016102?q=beast+united+nations&p=sen

EasyPrompt, I am discussing what the WTS has said, not necessarily what non-jws have said. The WTS does not teach that Jesus and his followers in heaven (144,000) will be coming down to earth to hang out with the non-anointed. But I know of religions that teach that. (Not supporting that either)

I thought the WTS says that "new scrolls" will be given to the survivors and resurrected in the "new system." Who gives the scrolls, "the other sheep"? I don't think so, not as the WTS says. They say that the anointed in heaven will rule as kings and priests and would be providing these "new scrolls." Of course, the WTS does not say what form the scrolls would take, how they would be given to humans on earth, and how those on earth could prove they were from the anointed in heaven (just reporting not supporting). I asked this question to some elders when I was researching the "new scrolls" in the WT publications and could not find an answer. They told me to "wait on Jehovah"! (I might add, I don't think the phrase "new scrolls" is mentioned in the bible, only "scrolls" in Revelation 20:12).

No more judicial committee if maybe suicidal
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inthe new direction in the new elders book is very clear.
absolutely no jd if there is a suspicion of suicidal thoughts.. this is obviously due to the high number of suicidal attempts after the announcement that someone is no longer a jw and the shunning that accompanied it.. so what will happen now going forward if situations arise where there would formerly have been a jd and they say there is suicidal thoughts?.
i can’t see it working, but elders stick rigidly to what it says in the book.

Probably all the commissions investigating the WTS very thoroughly, even reading what the WTS has put in their publications, not letting the WTS re-invent their past. Probably sued successfully, by families who lost family and friends to the inhumane pressure the WTS puts on its members.

Secret Elders Book? Bwahahaha!
by NotFormer ini remember a couple of decades ago when the internet was relatively young and the wt was at war with it, that they were battling to keep the pay attention book secret, commencing legal action against anyone who published it online (and of course, trying to out anyone who leaked it).
i think it was a norwegian skeptics organisation who had it available for download and dared the wt lawyers to come after them.. so i guess the new shepherd the flock book came out to try and put the genie back in the bottle and reassert some air of mystery and secrecy back into the equation.. so i typed jehovah's witnesses secret elder book into google.
colour me gobsmacked!

But FFGhost, the phrase "governing body" still does not appear in the bible. Just like the word "organization." In fact, the WTS quotes often from the Encyclopedia Brittana saying the since the word "trinity" does not appear in the bible, there is no trinity doctrine supported by the bible. Kind of a 180 from the "proof" of a "governing body." Rather, The Encyclopædia Britannica observes: “Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies.”
