3) 1 timothy 2:5 - for there is one god, and one mediator between god and men, a man, christ jesus.... wtbts: this is another example of not enough information being supplied by the apostle paul.

he should have written, "for there is..one mediator between god and only 144,000 men...".

the org's type/antitype of the exodus foreigners & the other sheep not being in the 2 covenants and not having jesus as their mediator is totally debunked by deuteronomy 29:10-15 & ezekiel 47:21-23. .

In flagrant disregard, Watchtower says Jesus is mediator for just the 144,000 anointed.

The WTS does try to weasel out of whether people who die at Armageddon, could be resurrected:

"When the oncoming battle of Armageddon strikes in its fury and with its desolations, many devoted Christians will be in their old age or in an infirm condition. Hence it may be that during the progress of that battle with all the conditions which it will produce on and around the earth, many Christian aged, weak in constitution, or with poor hearts, may die from sheer natural causes. When we read the prophetic accounts of that battle, for instance, Psalm 46, telling how the earth will be moved, the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, the waters roaring and showing great agitation so that even the mountains shake with the swelling thereof, we can see it will be a time that will be hard on the hearts and physical constitutions of even the hardiest of persons. We may have to undergo many privations in common with the people of the world, including food reductions, exposure to the heartless elements, etc., so that it will be a strenuous time, taxing our physical powers. Some, because of physical condition, age, or other circumstances, may prove no more able to endure the hardships of Armageddon than others." W1951 5/15 p. 299 (still thinking today.

The WTS reasons that only those directly executed by Jesus, the angels, and the anointed in heaven definitely will die forever, but as humans on earth, Jehovah's witnesses will not know who are not in the group, until after Armageddon and the resurrected ones come back. Interesting way to say something that is not in their Bible.

Thanks, Earnest. What is the reasoning about elders and MS not being required to report time. Perhaps, because auxiliary and regular pioneers, special pioneers, missionaries, circuit overseers and their wives have said to the WTS that they will meet the hour quota attached to each position for a specific number hours, or about, to keep these reviewed positions.

Thought on “0 hours” reporting

so everyone knows the “big news” of this past weekend, no more reporting of hours, placements, return visits, etc.

beginning november 1, jws just tick a box indicating whether they “shared in any form of the ministry during the month”.. so there was a brief comment by a redditor that seems like a brief joke “throwaway comment” but after thinking about it….why not?.

the idea is, what is “any form of the ministry”?

You guys are so funny, and thinking deeply; many jws look for ways around what the WTS says, letter of the law, not the spirit of it. I found as a regular pioneer, the other pioneers had many ways to give the appearance but really not obeying.

(Matthew 22:21; 1 Peter 3:16)" W99 11/1 p. 28 (said it is the individual jw's conscience, but does not mention that someone exercising their "conscience" this way will have an unwritten black mark on the spirituality.
