the only repercussions are that the individual who is aware of it can decide to "mark" them and not go to the local club or bar with the individual, but they are still obligated to go door to door in the ministry with them, and even speak to them at the kn as if nothing is wrong and not feel obligated to tell anyone else?

That is an even bigger change. In the past, a person could be DF for continuing a relationship with an unbeliever (required multiple warnings re: marry only in the Lord). (The jw could only be df'd if evidence of sexual activity between them. But they are being for that offense not dating a non-jw.)

I saw this in my morning jw news segment. Yay! May many more be found out and charged and found guilty and sent to prison. (and that's just the elders who conceal those people's crimes). More bad news for the WTS and expensive too.

Yes, you can "greet" them, the WTS says after they have changed their meaning of greet with a reference to a scripture used before to support not greeting them. Typical WTS ploy.

I have helped support their decision to leave. And helped them to readjust to the non-jw world. I have said that it is hard to help PIMIs to get out, they need what I call an AHA moment, when they finally experience the hypocrisy personally, and are confused. Those have become PIMO. But I don't get into a long conversation about the flaws of the WTS. I had doubts but it was about 10 years of still going before I had my AHA moment at a circuit assembly. Just keep it brief and stop when it seems they are getting defensive. I found it is better just to ask thought-provoking question but not supply the answer.

That is why the WTS never puts quote marks "" around the phrase, because it is not a quote from the bible. I would find it amazing if any ex-jw would be that savvy with how many false statements any religion has made. That would have to be a scholarly document that covers at least as far back as 1879 the timeframe for the start of the WTS. I have found lists online which I might find and put here. There have been much larger religions (Christian) that have mislead more people. Also, it is subject to interpretation what is "false" depending on the researcher. I was always fascinated by the Worldwide Church of God headed up by Herbert Armstrong. In recent years there has been at least one split and a change in doctrine in the new one. I heard jws in the past compare the WT to their magazines, as closest to the WTS!!!
