I know that, Beth Sarim...that's why I left 25 years ago, lack of true love for others in our outside the WTS. :)

The Governing Body is Restructuring the Org.and encouranging young ones to REACH OUT!
by liam inthe governing body just doesn't let up on encouraging the young children to reach out to do free labor for the organization.
so another generation of young people with ruined lives.
another generation of young people that will get old and wake up in their 50s to realize they were in a religious doomsday cult.. and they are getting rid of some old workers that ran the branches of the organization, and giving them different assignments or maybe they are just sending them home, who knows.

When will the current preaching work end? (remember, I am reporting not supporting WTS teaching)
Questions from Readers August 2025 p. 31 (How many WTS teaching have been clarified? The WTS lists them on the Watchtower Online Library under “Clarifications.”
There is “end” and then there is “end”
Matthew 24:14 “The Greek word translated “end” in this verse, as well as in verses 6 and 13, is teʹlos. It refers to the final end of Satan’s world at Armageddon. Rev: 16:14,16) Thus, we will continue to preach the good news until just before that final end. This adjusts our earlier understanding…Previously, we understood that we would stop preaching the good news when the great tribulation began with the destruction of Babylon the Great…We compared them to the Jews who survived the destruction of Jerusalem in 607 B.C.E. These individuals had been marked for survival earlier because they worshipped Jehovah and hated wickedness…That comparison, however, does not harmonize with Jesus’ words found at Matthew 24:14, which indicate that people may have the opportunity to respond to the good news until just before the final end at Armageddon…At that late point in time, after the destruction of Babylon the Great, will some be drawn to the message as to a sweet fragrance? This is quite possible. Perhaps they may recall or learn that for many years Jehovah’s Witnesses had announced the end of false religion…By way of comparison, consider what happened in ancient Egypt following the Ten Plagues. After Jehovah “[executed] judgment on all the gods of Egypt,” his people were joined by “a vast mixed company” of non-Israelites. These foreigners may have turned to Jehovah when they saw Moses’ warnings about the Ten Plagues come true…Any who turn to Jehovah after the destruction of Babylon the Great will have the privilege of doing good to Christ’s brothers who will still be on earth… Of course, that opportunity to be judged as sheep will end shortly before Armageddon when the remaining anointed ones receive their heavenly reward…This clarified understanding powerfully illustrates Jehovah’s great love and mercy. Yes, he “does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.” (The above is saying that the WTS/GB did not agree with what Jesus said and this scripture. So that means they desired those people to be destroyed not their god.)

LHG, I agree with all those points. "some ‘worldly’ person’s nice house could be theirs after Armageddon." I would speak up respectfully. Of course, they avoided me and I was glad, I did not want to be in a "car group" with them. I would mention that none of us are guaranteed a place in "paradise," that we have to be faithful to the end, and our faithfulness is not determined by saying we are one of Jehovah's witnesses, spend time in preaching, and then do things in secret, thinking we are safe because the elders don't know what we are doing. Supposedly, we have learned that god sees all things and knows what we think, our heart condition" I was not part of the in group for sure.

Verdict on the 2025 convention
by gavindlt infinal thoughts after 15 hours of the 2025 assembly.
after dedicating 15 hours to the 2025 assembly, i walked away with a heavy sense of spiritual emptiness.
the only part that managed to stir anything within me was a single video on day one titled “what does jesus see in you?”—a piece with sentimental appeal, but still surface-level at best.. .

HiddiesWife, do you any links to that? I'd like to be able to share with others who need more proof. I don't doubt it, I wonder if they did that with the child sexual abuse WT cases in court.

SDAs Campaigning in my Area
by NotFormer innot even as active as the jws (whom i have not seen for around a year now), nevertheless i get an occasional leaflet or other publication in my letterbox that seems to be seventh day adventist in origin.. the booklet i received the other day was entitled "national sunday law".
i also had received this book years ago when i had some dealings with the sdas.. from reddit: "national sunday law involves a conspiracy theory which alleges that the united states government is on the verge of enacting a national blue law that would make sunday a day of rest and worship.
the theory depends on the idea that the pope is the antichrist and the mark of the beast is worshipped on sunday.

WingCommander, my family were Bible Students when Russell was living. They had the Studies in the Scriptures in their library. I read them all, and it was cuckoo land; but then a lot of religions started in that time period that were cuckoo land.
