SPIMI Friend Asked Me For The Name Of My (FORMER) Congregation

she was a longtime buddy, who was pimq-pimo-ppimi-on-occasion for many decades.
then shortly before the pandemic, she was dating a brother who was reaching out to become an ms [mind you, this guy was a mic-handler for several decades as well--until an older brother (who was a close friend of his uncle--who converted him into the cultporation years ago--encouraged him to the point of harrassing him to move up the wt corporate ladderđđ¤].

joey jojo, I see plenty of people on here that are ex-jws, but still maintain a Christian belief system and find a group that matches the things they feel are important. So I don't judge other people's choices.

Not many jws or ex-jws know this point. The WTS once said only the anointed are Jehovah's witnesses, saying that Isaiah 43:10-12 was said to the Jews as being "witnesses of Jehovah" so the witnesses of Jehovah in this time have to be "spiritual Israelites" = anointed. So as you point out for some time in the 50's and 60's, it was as you pointed out. "The âJonadabsâ were not even considered to be âJehovahâs witnessesâ originally. (See The Watchtower, August 15, 1934, page 249" "Proclaimers Book chap. 10, p. 141-2) "Jehovahâs servants began to realize that it was spiritual Israel, âthe Israel of God,â composed of spirit-anointed Christians, who, in fulfillment of Godâs purpose, were enjoying peace with God through Jesus Christ."
