Actually, as hats go the MAGA hats are not very attractive to me.
Why identify yourself with such a hat, why not the US flag on a nice looking hat, it would seem more appropriate and not so divisive.

the made a separate box in the article to highlight the math behind jubilees, and i'm wondering if they're trying to get people thinking and stir up the pot without actually making a false prophecy.

Correct, the WTS has many versions for the 50th Jubilee but always only in regards to the WTS organization and its existence and future. The WTS has quietly dropped the 7,000 year creative day by the wayside since 1987, revising any mentions of it after that to thousands of years. There was a trip up at one book study where some jws were using an older version of the study book, but the conductor only baptized 3 years before this study had a newer book and had never heard of the 7,000 creative day. So he called on a brother who said it was 7,000 years long but the conductor's book said thousands of years and corrected the older brother. My husband had to explain the previous interpretation before the conductor's baptism. The next midweek meeting, it was announced that members should get the newer copy of the book so everyone would be on the same page.

so the end comes in 1975 so that the 1,000 years after contain the years for Jesus Messianic rule from heaven

Who was it that led humans to believe that lie? If a child answers the door, we should ask to speak with his parents. This shows respect for their headship. (Pr 6:20) If the child invites us to come in, we should decline. If his parents are unavailable, we should return at another time.
If the child is older, perhaps in his mid-to-late teens, it would still be appropriate to ask for his parents. If they are not available, we might ask whether his parents let him choose his own reading material. If they do, we can offer him literature and perhaps direct him to jw.org.
When making a return visit on a youth who has shown interest, we should ask to meet his parents. The GB of the WTS is no longer involved in the business end of the WTS. They have handed that over to non-anointed jw men at Bethel. Even the WTS realized that letting the GB handle business was not a good business model (and for certain legal sidesteps).
