Babylon The Great / World Empire of False Religion, do JW`s even preach that anymore ?

when was that first preached , with the book babylon the great has fallen gods kingdom rules ,the 1970`s ?

where they claimed that false religion had a fall in 1919 and that it was continuing to that day .

however today we see not babylon the great that is falling ,but the jehovah`s witnesses religion that are on the decline ,selling off branches , kingdom halls in one place after another throughout the earth .. and only a couple of years ago they were predicting they would be needing thousands of kingdom halls to be built for the expected influx of new worshippers ?

If it is not possible to know with certainty the names of all spiritual Israelites on earth today, how can members of the other sheep “go with” them? Notice what the prophecy in Zechariah states concerning the figurative ten men. These ones would “take firm hold of the robe of a Jew, saying: ‘We want to go with you, for we have heard that God is with you people.’” Although only one Jew is mentioned here, in both instances the pronoun “you” refers to more than one person. This spiritual Jew must, then, be a composite person, not just one individual! So it is not necessary to identify every spiritual Jew and then go with him or her. Rather, we need to identify these ones as a group and then support them as such. In no way do the Scriptures encourage us to follow an individual. Jesus is our Leader.—Matt. 23:10.

i think the wtb&ts publication titled "the kingdom interlinear of the christian greek scriptures" speaks for itself.. the word for word translation of the greek into english.. that publication does not even contain the name or word jehovah either in hebrew letters or greek letters anywhere in the word for word texts.. their is not one scripture in the n.t.

where christians ,followers of jesus christ are instructed to be witnesses of jehovah ,however there are something like twenty scriptures that explicitly state followers of jesus christ are to be witnesses of, for, and about jesus...

In fact, to be more direct, Jesus said his followers would be witnesses of Jesus. And at Acts 11:26 his followers came to be called Christians by "divine providence." Thus Jesus' followers should rightly be called Christian witnesses of Jesus.

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the holy spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, in all Ju·deʹa and Sa·marʹi·a and to the most distant part of the earth.

Acts 11:26

After he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year they assembled with them in the congregation and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

i expect that 2 new jw guys in the area are going to revisit me.

the left some brochures emphasizing how bad the world is and talking about the end.

i need to break through with examples (wt articles, publication excerpts, etc) so that they can gag a bit.

Note the WTS statements in 1969 regarding stillborn children where the WTS speculates:

Furthermore, resurrection is for persons who have lived as individuals before Jehovah. Even a child who lives for only a short time after birth has existed as a separate person. But a miscarried fetus or stillborn child, though from a Biblical standpoint considered a “soul” while it was developing, never actually lived as a separate and distinct individual. So it would appear that such situations do not fall under the resurrection provision outlined in the Bible.—Acts 24:15.

Why for years did the WTS say that miscarried babies would not be resurrected?

Still in 2009 the WTS dances around the answer to this which still implies that they would not be?

If miscarried babies are not to be resurrected, then they were not really alive, how is that different than abortion?

Does all of this mean, then, that the Bible teaches that children who perish before birth will be resurrected? We must emphasize that the Bible does not directly answer that question, so there is no basis for humans (or the GB, my comment) to be dogmatic on the matter. DOC, I actually said that to some elders after explaining how I had been treated by WTS members over the last 40 years in many congregations. I gave specific examples especially those in their congregation. They did not disagree with me. I asked, "If every time I came, I was slapped literally in the face, wouldn't you want to stay out of slapping range? I think you would.? Why then would I want to be in the "paradise" with the same people?"

Who would want to live in a world that's all JWs? How could that be "paradise"?

The serpent in the Garden can’t be secretly Satan

we know that the serpent in the garden can’t be secretly satan, because the first time satan is mentioned by name is in a story chronologically after this one, and in that, he is said to be walking.

remember that the serpent was cursed to crawl on his belly all the rest of his days, but in the book of job, satan is still walking around and chatting with god as if they’d never had a falling out.

this is when god had to ask satan where he’s been, because his infallible omniscience obviously didn’t know.. so if he had to ask that of satan, who is later described as the lord of lies, then why would god believe him?

so, on paragraph 9 of last's week wt study (number 30), i see the are showing the registered symbol next to jw.borg.

why would you register a website in that circusntance?

i've never seem that before.

pixel, perhaps the WTS are worried that non-WT entities will grab that symbol up and twist it for their purposes. The WTS has been very diligent watching the internet for such websites.

Good point Crazyguy2; one I shared with jws while I was still in, but only asking as a question saying I was confused about why hemoglobin-based products made with expired human blood was now a conscience matter. It pays to appear humble looking for guidance.

Especially when they can get Hemopure (cows blood ) and the GB are ok with it!
