  How Will They End 1914 Teaching?

  i'm sure this has been discussed, but 1914 has to go away.

  instead of, the overlapping generation teaching, they should have just ditched 1914. .

  they should have done that a long time ago with 1975. it's the last of the teachings in the charles taze russell era.. i'm thinking they just will stop talking about it, and it will be out of the mind of the rank and file loyal witnesses .

  It probably has already been said that the "overlapping" generation addressed the fact that the members of the GB were getting older and older, and the WTS had to explain why younger and younger men were being appointed, most who claimed to be anointed long after 1935 when the WTS taught that the calling of the ended had ended. The WTS had to adjust that date of 1935 because so many more jws started self-identifying as "anointed" and the # was going up not decreasing as the WTS previously said would happen. Of course, the WTS suggested that many of these people were "confused" and were not real or genuine anointed. "

  ) regarding blood and organ transplants since a recent royal member on the wts board found reason to ok one for himself!

  i mean this shit is so far removed from my life now, but hearing something so outrageous, that once cost people close to me their lives, is too unsettling to not want to know..

  Is there a Board of Directors any more? I know the WTS moved the GB over into non-financial things and put non-anointed mostly in charge of the other departments that run the financial end of it. I do know that the WTS has allowed hemoglobin-based products but published this in 2006 and danced around whether using these products (that are manufactured from human and bovine blood) are allowed. (August 2006 Awake pp. 10-12) "Some manufacturers now process hemoglobin, releasing it from human or bovine red blood cells. The extracted hemoglobin is then filtered to remove impurities, chemically modified and purified, mixed with a solution, and packaged. The end product​—not yet approved for use in most lands—​is called a hemoglobin-based oxygen carrier, or HBOC. Since the heme is responsible for the rich red color of blood, a unit of HBOC looks just like a unit of red blood cells, the primary component from which it is taken.

  Unlike red blood cells, which must be refrigerated and discarded after a few weeks, the HBOC can be stored at room temperature and used months later. And since the cell membrane with its unique antigens is gone, severe reactions due to mismatched blood types pose no threat. However, compared with other blood fractions, the HBOC presents more challenges to conscientious Christians, who seek to obey God’s law on blood. Why?   the theme of the in person convention this year is "exercise patience".

  looking at the convention map, they are really using their assembly halls and they are using smaller civic centers or city arena.

  no more huge stadiums.. are they not expecting a great crowd?

  Rattigan, yes keeping expenses low, using properties they already own, then charging their members for the rental. They have been doing that for some time in some limited way. The WTS is trying to "save" money and pass it on to their members. I wonder how long before the WTS assesses individual required donations (euphemism for tithing) for jws, not a congregational one. Of course, just a "suggestion," but if I understand correctly, the WTS now has access to congregation banking accounts.

  1000 people interviewed? Many of those religions are totally unknown as to their beliefs. People are so ignorant which is why the abuse in the WTS needs the news coverage it is now getting. Did they ask why they felt that why specifically about those religions.

  would he be working on the massive audio/visual complex being built at ramapo?.

  i overheard my wife listening to some update broadcast this morning and immediately thought would a true humanitarian such as jesus, mahatma gandhi or albert schweitzer be at all interested in such things?

  these were 'people' persons not interesting in the stupid trappings of life.. if the gb were to sanction the building of hospitals, orphanages, refugee centers and the like, maybe we would have a little more respect for them but this ramapo project seems like a sense waste of time, energy and money.

  It’s started COBE asking all appointed men if they are fully vaccinated

  there is a huge problem now in all congregations as the gb stubbornly will not do the u turn on staying fully vaccinated that many hoped they would do.. all congregations around the world the cobe has to ask all ministerial servants and elders if they are fully vaccinated (meaning no more than six months since last shot).

  there is a massive problem now with many many jdubs not getting their latest boosters and not wanting to stay fully vaccinated .

  but more serious than that is how the gb painted themselves into a corner with these vaccine mandates.. most governments did a u turn on the vax mandates but the gb can’t get out of this one so easily .

  Is only a verbal confirmation enough or do the elders have to show official, like a printout from the place they got their shots. Like elders checking to make sure the documentation for not taking blood products? I wouldn't show them, I said only the medical system had to know.
