steve2 is right! I haven't seen a JW in our neighborhood in years.
A former Bethelite who writes to me on a regular basis told me, the Mormons have called on his home three times in the past five years, and not even one JW has been seen in his neck of the woods during that time.
They don't even come to visit his disabled wife who is still in good standing!

When you consider all the members on this board and what they sacrificed and how they suffered through the years, they certainly have earned the right to know what is going on.
But the Watchtower is too cowardly to be open and honest. So we have to grab the secret stuff when we can.

Not much to brag about, right Sanchy? We can give Average Joe credit for these. We know the Watchtower is lying about their numbers, because in one of the leaked videos they admitted they did NOT even know how many Kingdom Halls they had.
They also admitted that the information posted on their website was NOT correct!

do today's elders ever meet with inactive members and pressure them to write a letter disassociating themselves from the congregation stating that, ''you no longer wish to a jehovah witness"?.
i was baptized at the young age of 16. after turning 18, i stopped attending meetings, field service, and all jehovah's witness activities.
i wanted to be with my high school friends, go to rock concerts, have a girlfriend, and live like a normal teen.
That is the way it is here to Blondie. Two elders can come to your door or call you on the phone and ask that question. If you say "No" then you have disassociated yourself.

Great hearing from you! Your cat nibbles on cheese? Well that is a new one on me, but we all have our tastes.
The last time I emailed wifi was over a year ago and he was pleased and wished me well. It is my understanding that wifi felt that his exit was needed and so he did. The Archive he was setting up in google drive was closed also.
I was sending him tons of stuff for an Archive he was building, but he felt his exit was the right thing to do, so I didn't question him.
We wish him all the best and if he ever contacts me again I will request that he give you a message to say: Hello!
