Rome GA Kingdom Hall sold
by James Jack ini was driving through rome (coosa) ga and i noticed that the kingdom hall had been sold(it had been 4 months since my last trip).
i helped re-model the hall and they had a home next door that was donated to the hall and was being used to house co's and other visitors.
anyone have any further details about the sale?

Don't have anything further about the sale, but it looks like they will have to combine more JW's together due to this one being sold.
In the old days, I always felt more comfortable in a smaller congregation than a larger one. When they sell off Kingdom Halls, I can't help but think that some of the JW's who helped build it must feel hurt and ripped off.

I would have to agree with you. (Where is the money going?) The Watchtower's constant push and demands for more money could do them more harm than good.
JW's will sooner or later open their eyes and see that if nothing is being built, and they are selling off Kingdom Hall after Kingdom Hall, that the money has got to be going somewhere.
What would be the logical answer? LAWSUITS! And from what I read and hear there are plenty of more cases waiting for court.

The Fall Guy:
Because they want to throw their weight around and try and scare off others from doing the same. They want people to think that Jehovah is on their side, and will shoot lightening bolts of justice at them for leaking copyrighted documents.
They want to create fear into peoples minds including those "within" their own organization. They want the world to believe that they own the Bible and no one else has a right to it, unless they get permission from the governing body.
They are "worried" that some of the leaked documents can get their asses sued off, and they want to put a stop to it. They can see very well that they are losing control of their members, especially elders, who leak the documents in the first place.
I was one of the main persons behind the scenes sending Darkspilver the documents in the first place. Then he would go over to Reddit and post them. Then he would come back over here and contact me to get more. I did this with him for quite some time.
They should be coming after me instead of him! I have posted 100 times more documents than Darkspilver and they should leave him alone.
It's because he is a JW that they want him so bad! They think he will give them the names of other JW leakers.

It is a little difficult to claim you are "no part" of the world when you are "selling" it every other day of the week!
