i was hoping to get some advice on what to say to a parent who wouldn’t support you to get married to a “worldy person”.
always bringing up “marry only in the lord” even when that hasnt worked out for the parent, twice divorced lol.
is there a way to discredit that scripture or argue back respectfully without giving away that you are pimo?.

it has been reported that many of the older publications are being dumped.
the watchtower bible and truck society have a long list of books, pamphlets and brochures that are no longer available either in print or in their data base on their web sight.
of course the reason is that this books have a lot of old information that is incorrect, false prophecies, flip flops and a lot of "new light" that became old light.
Publications Approved For Discard 2012--2018
reading around the subject of lillith, the alledged, rebel first wife of adam, i stumbled upon this link and many others that link the custom of singing babies to sleep as an ancient jewish superstition.. http://www.jeanniemusick.com/lilith-world/lilith-as-the-origin-of-the-lullaby/.
some of the research could probably be argued but looking at it from the wt perspective and mirroring their usual reasoning, i could imagine the following.... ... it appears that the word "lullaby" originates from the the hebrew "lilith-abi", which means "lilith be gone".
jewish mothers used to sing these songs to their babies in bed in hopes that they would be protected from this baby snatching demon called lilith.

my wife and i were in edinburgh on saturday (did a ghost tour) and around dusk we passed two trolleys on the high street — aka 'the royal mile' — that both had two rows of led lights under the little shelves.
has anybody else seen this or is it a local innovation?
i'm happy to report their pimped-up trolleys were attracting no attention as usual.
I expect pretty soon they will have a small compartment on the side of their carts, for handing out free condoms to save humanity from the dreaded "pillowgate" monster!

Cart with flat screen TV and stereo speakers.
you would think exjws would be on the lookout for anything said by people...the news media, politicians, actors that might sound suspicious or questionable.
it seems like some people just will never learn how to be discerning..

Many thanks my friend!
