  sorry, long post :) i'm considering evidence that at least at some point, the gb/watchtower had bad intentions.

  i would like to share the following: *** w74 11/15 p. 703 questions from readers ***do lewd practices on the part of a married person toward that one’s own mate constitute a scriptural basis for the offended mate to get a divorce?there are times when lewd practices within the marriage arrangement would provide a basis for a scriptural divorce.. based on this, some jw chose to divorce.

  Bad Intent:

  The Watchtower "forces" its members to accept "false prophecy" or be disfellowshiped. They "knowingly" command JW's to accept lies and erroneous doctrines or face the consequences.

  
  Their Bad Intent? They must have "unity" at all costs, and this was the testimony of Hayden Covington under oath at the Douglas Walsh Trial. Their so-called "unity" has cost the lives of thousands.

  Legal Concerns About "Zoom" Meetings!

  this whole "zoom" thing has got me wondering whether some of it is legal or not.

  if a person has to dress up for a zoom meeting the way the watchtower dictates, doesn't this really go "beyond" cult?.

  even the cults who committed mass suicide were able to dress the way they wanted for their meetings.

  this whole "zoom" thing has got me wondering whether some of it is legal or not.

  if a person has to dress up for a zoom meeting the way the watchtower dictates, doesn't this really go "beyond" cult?.

  I also wonder if they will start disfellowshiping people online at these Zoom meetings also. Will a persons name be broadcast online that they are no longer a JW?

  Will that information go out to people who have no right to know?

  I just think that this "Zoom" thing is going to shoot the Tower in the foot. JW's will get sick and tired of having to dress up in their own homes.

  And what will the Tower expect next?

  And if an elder takes down notes because a JW wears jeans in his own home for a Zoom meeting, doesn't this border-line on breaking the Data Protection Laws?

  
  

  What's the difference of taking down information about people on a house-to-house record, and taking down notes about people in their own homes?

  
  

  I guess there could be some differences in the laws concerning that, but there are just some things about this whole Zoom thing that raises questions in my mind.

  
  

  It would seem that personal rights and freedoms, are being violated because the JW is under obligations that just don't seem legal.

  
  

  It just seems that while Zoom Meetings are going on, the Watchtower wants full control of the JW's home and then wants them to continue with contributions when everyone is out of work.

  Sister Not Sure If She Is 144 000 or Great Crowd

  i haven’t posted here for years as i have now moved on and am satisfied with the choice i have made to leave watchtower.

  however in light of the coronavirus and people in australia and other countries being asked to stay at home i became concerned for a witness sister who lives in melbourne alone who is 88 years old.

  today i gave her a call as i don’t trust the local witnesses to care for her.

  It is a real dishonor to JW's that they don't show more love and concern for the elderly. JW's have gone into nursing homes and been totally forgotten.

  In fact, there are JW's even in their own homes, who are sick and need help and the JW's in their congregations haven't shown them any concern at all.
