my parents have noticed my negative and sad attidude lately, whenever were going to the meetings or studying and so on.
but they just think that i am negative and sad in general.
i dont think they think that its spesifically because im being dragged to the meetings.. so lately we have had a lot of "serious" talks, because theyre worried for me.
uhm- Dustin, good points, I wish I could do that. But as I has posted a many topics before, what if they just make me study and go to the meetings and do field service much ore than before if I told them. A lot of people in here have already said that thats what most likely going to happen...
but what about now, where theyre actually asking me directly? As Jez said, its tearing me up inside to live a doublelife. Mentally I dont think I can handle the pressure much longer...
i remember the jws used to criticize the "eat, drink, and be merry" philosophy "for tomorrow we might die" and i used to think that it was a good thing that i was doing something worthwhile with my life instead of being distracted with the material things, or fleshly things of the world.
that the philosophy was so fatalistic, that tomorrow we might all be dead and anyone believing in the "eat, drink, and be merry" philosophy were all so hedonistic.
today, i hear that and have different feelings towards the saying and philosophy.

Thats right. I always wondered whats actually wrong with celebrating birthday. I know that its a "heathen" tradition, but hell, JWs are allowed celebrating anniversarys right? Which is actually the same with birthdays, although with birthdays you celebrate that a human gets one year older. With anniversarys you just celebrate that a company, building etc. gets older.
Its the same anyway.

So lately we have had a lot of "serious" talks, because theyre worried for me. And all the time theyre asking me whats bothering me and why Im sad.
They even ask me directly if I still want to come to the meetings, if I want to be a JW, if thats why Im sad.
In this case, would it be good idea to tell them anyway, since theyre actually asking me directly? Or just lie and say its because Im going through a difficult period now as a teenager and blah blah blah...?
from what i can see, it's the "lack of love" that gets people to realize the witnesses don't have the "truth" after all!
when I realized that all the other hundreds of religions in the world, believe as much as JWs that their religion is the true religion. And everything else written above...

I do clear the search history and cookies already, I just wondered if he could get a list, like you can get a list of all phonenumbers that has been dialed.

i know you all have adviced me just to keep low-profile and not bang out and tell my super-elder dad that i dont believe in his crap.
but i just cant stand it!
all around me everywhere i go theres this vomiting sense of thick jw-air.
Since I was a kid I have had a lot more headaches than the average. Now I dont have that many attacks, but I can use my headache as an excuse for going to the meetings. I actually coordinate it, like if I have been to the big meeting 2-3 times I can use my headche to not going for the next big meeting, without my dad getting suspicious.
But my dad would never allow to stay home just because "Im tired and sad".
Also, in Denmark you dont pay for going in any kind school - its actually the other way around. In Denmark YOU get payed to stay in school, but its not much though. Instead we almost 50% of our income in taxes.
