I believe Revelation has already been fullfilled and the only thing that applies to those living now is ECCLESIASTES 1:4. "One generation passes away and another comes, but the Earth abideth forever."

Can Someone Please Explain....

i'm not a jehovah's witness, nor have i ever been one.

(neither have i played one on tv.

) but i have relatives who joined back in the late 60s, and we've heard precious little from them since.. i've read many jw publications, talked to their missionaries and am at a loss.

I will try. The JWs say God looked down in 1919 and saw a small group and picked them(JWs). Wish I had the Watchtower or book ( which ever it was). Maybe someone will let us know. They have lied so much and still are,no way God picked them over everyone else.

i invited a jw friend of mine to a christian retreat, and she did go.

it was a small group.

she seemed to enjoy herself.

Whyizit, I am not a JW but the Bible does show the soul dies. Genesis 2:7 "Man became a living soul." The soul can die because it is a person. Psalm 33:19 "to deliver their soul from death." James 5:20"shall save a soul from." Back to Genesis 2:7 Man did not live until he breathed and than "He became a living soul(or person). I have heard people say, when they went somewhere, I didn't see a living soul,meaning they did not see anyone.

pjschipper doesn't want the truth. He is probably one of the GB getting filthy rich from the slaves of the Watchtower Society. Matthew 7:6 says "Do not give what is Holy to Dogs." So I am through with him.

Acts 2:16-17 shows 33C.E. was the begining of the last days for the early Christains And the end came in 70 C.E. Colossians 1:23 said the "good news" was preached through out the earth. So Matthew 24 :14 was fullfilled. We are no longer under that command. Jesus did not say it had a greater fullfillment. The watchtower does so they can go on and on with their lies.

I had always thought it was John because of what Rev. 1:1 and 19 says but now I think it could be Jesus.

Show her Watchtower's own words. July1, 1973 "Showing Respect For Life" Is making weapons for destruction consistent with doing good toward all? Would your conscience permit you to share in producing weaponry? Than tell her to click on "Watchtower and Warfare Technology." It doesn't seem to bother the Watchtower Society's conscience.
