MATTHEW 24:3-51 WAS FULLFILLED DURING THE LIFE TIME OF JESUS' DISCIPLES. JESUS SAID "ALL THESE THINGS WILL COME UPON THIS GENERATION". (matthew24:34) HE WAS TALKING TO HIS DICIPLES WHEN HE SAID "THIS GENERATION" SO THEY UNDER STOOD IT MEANT THEIR GENERATION. THESE WORDS CAME TRUE IN 70 C. E. IT MARKED THE END OF THAT SYSTEM. VERSE 15-21 SHOW THE GREAT TRIBULATION FELL ON THEM. JESUS ALSO SAID THERE WOULD NOT BE A GREAT TRIBULATION LIKE THAT AGAIN. OF COURSE THE WATCHTOWER SAYS THERE WILL BE BUT I HAD RATHER BELIEVE JESUS. THE PREACHING OF THE GOOD NEWS WAS FULLFILLED BEFORE THAT END CAME. (COLOSSIANS 1:23.) THE WATCHTOWER SAYS IT HAS A GREATER FULLFILLMENT. WHERE DID THEY READ THAT IN THE BIBLE?

a cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual.many cults follow a living human leader,not jesus or god.and they live a part from the rest of human society.their meetings are in hiding, not just anyone can attend.you have to be a member.

Resurrection date and parousia questions

2) do they still believe that jesus is present, the parousia is upon us and that he 'returned' invisibly in 1914 or has that also changed?.

There is not a religion on earth that God is backing. The Bible is history but it is true history.

June 1, 1970 says resurrection began in 1918. Don't know if it has changed. I think they still say 1914 for the parousia.

Another problem for the WT, Isaiah 44:24

here's a problem for the wt with their god father and "a god" son theology.. the wt major on proverbs 8 and give the title of "master worker" to jesus and insert the word "[other]" into john 1:3 colossians 1:16 etc.. however, there are plenty of scriptural problems, consider this one.

isaiah 44:24 (new international version) 24 "this is what the lord says .
