1) Do the JWs still believe that the first resurrection of the 144,000 began in 1918 or did they change that?
2) Do they still believe that Jesus is present, the parousia is upon us and that he 'returned' invisibly in 1914 or has that also changed?

June 1, 1970 says resurrection began in 1918. Don't know if it has changed. I think they still say 1914 for the parousia.

WBTS Teaching on this is untrue. These events are still future, but near future to be sure
We are the Generation, all mankind living now, that will witness these events
Parousia begins at the opening of the six seals, this is when christ goes on to wage war amidst his enemies.
When we read the Gospel accounts we find out that persecutions in the congregations are the precursor. It will be a time of false christs and prophets.
There will be talks of war leading to war, and these/this war to come is going to be the bloodiest seen, and will see the eradication of at least 1/4 of the worlds population. The good news of the kingdom is preached by the two witness elect in this period.
The destruction of Jerusalem and abolition of worship is the marker for the end of the worship of God and the time of the end begining. It also marks Satans ousting, the set up of his last king on earth, and christ taking over power in the heavens.
From begining to end it will be 7 years.
Sealing of the 144000 occurs within opening of the 7th seal, they then go into the wilderness away from the face of satan during his 1260 day period of reign. The 144000 rise to christ (those dead and those alive) at sounding of the 7th trumpet when christ returns to declare his kingdom in heaven and upon the earth.
The bringing back of the dead is reserved for the 1000 year for sure, but Daniel, Jerimiah and King David dont come back until the end of the 1000 years.
But, when the last two witnesses of Jehovah do come, they will perform many miracles so as to prove their authority, and their ministry will be like that of christs, even christ said they would do many works like he did, even greater, and the raising of the dead as part of these powerful works this side of Armageddon cannot be ruled out.

I beleive in 2007 they say that the ressurection "MAY" have started in 1918. I think that same mag says that the separation work (sheep & goats) does not start until after the big "A". So I guess they have not been doing that work all this time.
This is the same mag that changes the 1935 heaven cutoff date. We now "don't know" when that date will be.

1914 still the enthronement/invisible parousia.
1918 still start of the first fruits resurrection.....but as Bob has pointed out in 2007 (*)they put opted for some distancing ability.

ynot, yes its future, but 607, 1914, 1918, 1919, 1935, 1975, all contrived, cunningly conceived, so as to deceive. We dont know the dates, all we can do is stay awake and look for the signs.
1914 happend almost 100 years ago, so the generaton then will/should be around 140 years old now.....how do wbts adherents fall for this bull?

oh, forgot, 144000 rose to their thrones in 1919, then were ssealed in 1935? hhhhhhhhmmmmmm? bit like getting a prize before competing for it.
