I am pretty sure when 1914 arrived and the end never came, They said 1918 and then went back to 1914 saying the end would come within the life span of the 1914 generation.

JWS is a fraud...
by vilot inwes and april started an exjw discussion board thinking simon would end this board...it attracted many new members and grew into a bit hit in the exjw world...but a funny thing happened they started to ask for funds to keep the site up and asked for donations they poured in and yet it was not enough they keep ask and the funds keep pouring in...month after month and yet it was never enough...then it dawned on the members they were just pocketing the money and holding the members hostage..."send money or the site will go down"...they kept sending and they kept pocketing the money.... .
avoid these people like the plage they will just rip you off and pocket the money....

Is it all in the timing? Talking to my kids about baptism

if they go along with this, the likelyhood of them having to shun me are great.
even as minors.

I have been talking to my Grandson who is almost 12 and used the scripture where Jesus was 30 when he was baptized and then the other where we are told to "Follow in Jesus footsteps." Since he can read I showed him somethings the WTS has said and then showed how they had made predictions fo the end of the world so many times. If they see both sides, it can help them to know what they should do. My Grandson has said he was not going to get Baptized. I ask him what he was going to say if someone ask him why isn't he baptized. He said "I will say I'm not ready and if Armageddon comes, Jehovah knows my heart." JW's are not the only ones who can teach.

Would it be fair to compare JWs to Terrorist Organisations?
by african GB Member in-terrorists are prepared to die for their course,.
-jws are prepared to die for jehovah.. 2 terrorists treat those with different views as enemies,.
2 jws treat 'worldly people' as enemies.. 3 terrorists are brainwashed from a young age,.

I didn't want to believe it at first, but I didn't want to waist another 30 years of my life. Can't believe I stayed that long.

Can't be of any help on that subject, but they do not love Jesus or the God they worship. If they did, they wouldn't make them liers. Watchtower,May 15, 1984 "Jehovah's word through Jesus is The generation of 1914will not pass away before the end comes." "The END will come within the LIFE span of the generation of 1914."

Common JW Response to Apostates
by KingDavidwasframed inone of the things i hear from jws and even my mother is "if being a jw is so bad, where else would we go?
" or along the same line, but different wording "i know the society isn't perfect, but where else do they teach about jehovah?".
so i got to thinking last night, is there really a fds?

That's what my daughter said "But I don't know where else to take my Kids." Matthew 11:29-30, Jesus said " come to me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light." It's not easy being a JW and it is a heavy load they require. Plus it is nothing but a cult filled with lies.

I left by trying to get my son and his wife back in. I was going to prove to them the WTS was right, but the more research I done, the more I could see they had done the right thing so I got out.

New light: Generation
by 5thGeneration ingot some info from the annual meeting.. unofficially, the 'generation' is now categorized as 2 groups.
the first is 'the 1914 group' and the second is the younger anointed 'contemporaries' who 'actually work for a period of time with those anointed ones'.. the 'generation' is now 'the lifespan of those who actually saw the beginning of the sign and then the lifespan of those who worked with those who saw the beginning of the sign'.. here we go again....

I agree Dssynergy, It does not apply to our day and Jesus never said it had a greater fullfillment. Every thing has to have a greater fullfillment for the WTS so they can go on and on with their lies.
