so, while i am not looking to date at the current moment since i'm still trying to figure out who i am and what i want life, i do want to start dating in the near future.. my issue is that i've been in for almost all my life and it's left a big hole when it comes to my romantic life.. i was wondering, after leaving, did any of you date?

Dating.......well being in the JW org for most of my life and being around JW boys who thought they were gods gift to us "sisters" - because there is a serious lack of males in the borg - I never dated in the org - gaaagh! None of them attracted me anyway - mommies'boys.

Afterward - well I did feel a bit at a disadvantage, because I didn't have the normal experiences as others.

I did try online - met a couple of guys - most wanted sex only. Tried dating a couple - but I don't know - found them to be boring, lacking in conversation and well nothing really came about.

I'm open to dating someone, but hell where do find people to date? At work - no one really here because everyone my age (38) is married with 2 kids, a fence, a house, 2 cars and 5 dogs. Clubs? Yeah I still pop around to a club now and again to dance - I"m not that hot to pull one of those chaps (not that I don't have confidence, but at those places it is mostly superficial - besides they younger) Church? I don't go to church.

So that leaves me with the one and only male in my life - Wilson. My gorgeous Daxie. There's no room on the bed for another male.

dubs are working the housing estate where i live.

Before, when I was in the faith the memorial held a special place in my heart, I would go outside, look at the moon and think 2000 years ago Jesus died and here we were looking up at that same moon........

NOW I forget that it's memorial time. It means nothing to me. The witnesses today are so half hearted in their service to their all powerful god that if they were my employees I'd fire them. Lukewarm water gets spat out - so said Jesus.

doing some reflective research onto the jws and even further back to the ibsa, there is a lot of obtainable information about these organizations and the people who headed up these adjoined organizations.

i myself found many bits of information that were left blank, missing pieces that i may have assumed on speculation but upon reviewing those bits of information actually reconfirmed of what i had originally thought.

most of that involves the pressing agenda of the wts to proliferate its publications by using dubiously concocted but nevertheless alluring doctrines to promote literature which the organization and its head editorial writers devised on their own.

Need Help, what do you do when Elders try to bully you and your family with Lies and threats? I am inactive and hate them now!

i have a elder trying to screw with me because he protects pedophiles and claims they can be rehabilitated.

he's doing his jw attacks while nobody is around because he knows he can lie about me and my family even if there are three witnesses the jw elders don't do squat!

they cower because all the elders are terrified of this bully, he brags about how great his business is but i know so many secrets about him and his wife.

So how would you approach something like this? I wouldn't do it maliciously - I would speak to the man one on one and take a minutes of the meeting, even recording it so that there can be no further lies or bullying tactics. Follow it up in writing. Explain that if he doesn't stop his actions then you'll have to use the law.

I find keeping emotions out of something and using facts instead help a lot.

I would definitely bring that up with her boss. She is in a professional environment and she acted unprofessionally.

Lost but now found : This site and update on life

i have been searching for this for ages.

it just seemed to have fallen off the net or was down in south africa - couldn't find links or anything.

was really weird.. the site looks clean, i miss the old site however.

To my fellow SA's - the cricket was nail biting. Man o man, how I wanted that 6 to actually be a catch! shheeeez

AS for the rugby - you know I'm a Sharks supporter all the way - was at the game last week with that hellofa lighting - was AWESOME - was in a box so remained dry and drank a Hansa beer!

As for the DUBS - well all I can say is tough. It doesn't even pull at my heart strings. After 10 years, that natural affection has died off I'm afraid - out of sight out of mind. Yeah I may sound very hard / harsh, but it's the truth.
