Okay - just a note - our South African pizza is waaaay different in size to American pizza. So 5 slices is not SO bad.
"Happy Pizza Dance"
So far my favorite one of the day is the black olive and feta cheese. Very nom noms and more-ish.
These are also all thin based.
I would like to have a thick based again - haven't had one of those in forever.
I'm eye-ing out the mushroom, chicken tikka.

I admit it, I believe in evolution.
by Louise inafter leaving the dub religion behind, i read everything that i could get my hands on, be it about other religions, beliefs, gods, occult, evolution - you name it - i read it.
i did this to 'catch up' and to educate myself, so that when i can to a decision it would be an intellectual / educational one.
not just because some book or person told me to believe it.. i have over time and with reading aids come to totally believe and accept evolution.

I have over time and with reading aids come to totally believe and accept evolution. It makes sense. Sure we may not see monkeys evolving to humans today, but that is because the evolution process has taken place and nature is clever like that :)
We do still see species adapting though. Adaption takes place over a noticeable time whereas full on evolution takes place over thousands or millions of years.
So Yeah I'm happy with that.

Is there an After Life ?
by Finkelstein ina large segment of the wts doctrines is contained in the proclamation that there will be an extenuating every lasting life.
on earth for a select majority and a smaller select portion who are going to reside in heaven with god and jesus christ.
jws are influenced to live their lives that is true and advantageous to live accordingly around that proclaiming assertion.. a purposed theory based from ancient mythological beliefs.. to be noted there are other theological beliefs in the after life from other religious beliefs separate from christianity.

Today's groundless speculation thread - so why would a German copilot deliberately fly an airplane into a mountain?
by sir82 injust can't wrap my head around this.
the guy (a) evidently did all of this on purpose, and (b) evidently had no reason at all to do so.. there is a huge chunk of the puzzle missing from this one (so far)..

Dating After Leaving?
by Garrett inhey guys,.
this is going to be a topic of a different nature.
so, while i am not looking to date at the current moment since i'm still trying to figure out who i am and what i want life, i do want to start dating in the near future.. my issue is that i've been in for almost all my life and it's left a big hole when it comes to my romantic life.. i was wondering, after leaving, did any of you date?

Dating.......well being in the JW org for most of my life and being around JW boys who thought they were gods gift to us "sisters" - because there is a serious lack of males in the borg - I never dated in the org - gaaagh! None of them attracted me anyway - mommies'boys.
Afterward - well I did feel a bit at a disadvantage, because I didn't have the normal experiences as others.
I did try online - met a couple of guys - most wanted sex only. Tried dating a couple - but I don't know - found them to be boring, lacking in conversation and well nothing really came about.
I'm open to dating someone, but hell where do find people to date? At work - no one really here because everyone my age (38) is married with 2 kids, a fence, a house, 2 cars and 5 dogs. Clubs? Yeah I still pop around to a club now and again to dance - I"m not that hot to pull one of those chaps (not that I don't have confidence, but at those places it is mostly superficial - besides they younger) Church? I don't go to church.
So that leaves me with the one and only male in my life - Wilson. My gorgeous Daxie. There's no room on the bed for another male.

Before, when I was in the faith the memorial held a special place in my heart, I would go outside, look at the moon and think 2000 years ago Jesus died and here we were looking up at that same moon........
NOW I forget that it's memorial time. It means nothing to me. The witnesses today are so half hearted in their service to their all powerful god that if they were my employees I'd fire them. Lukewarm water gets spat out - so said Jesus.
