  Called the information desk again about the UN

  i have called many times in the past.

  this time i was calling for a sister that wanted to know the truth from the society.

  the brother from the information desk said they did join but realy they were tricked.

The Society asked the UN for some information and the UN asked them to sign some paper before the Society could get the answer and years later they found out they had joined the NGO';s of the UN so when the Society found out they got out.

  I knew there was some reasonable explanation. Apostates always seem to get the wrong end of the stick.

  Apostates treat the truth like a shouting match: just because they can shout their accusations louder than the Witnesses can defend themselves they think they have the better of them. I won't be so easily duped.

  to become a publisher again i need to have a bible study with one of the elders.

  The study is in the new "Worship" book. I thought it would be rude to refuse when the elder offered, otherwise I was happy going to the occasional meeting. Besides, if I am successfully to infiltrate this organisation, Is gotta start somewhere.

  I was inactive more than 6 months. To become a publisher again I need to have a Bible Study with one of the elders. My third study was the other day. It is going okay, I suppose. I mainly try to stick to those things about which I can agree with the Witnesses. If something a little suspect comes up I try to waffle my way through. I think I made a mistake when he asked if I have set any goals for myself now since I started a new study. I said my goals were to do more housework and to get on better with my family. I don't think that was the type of goal he was looking for. This "study" could go on for months by the looks of it. I don't know if I have what it takes.

  English - the theocratic language?

  a brother in vienna told me he leaned english because that way you get closer to god's channel of truth.

  are such sentiments common in non-english-speaking lands?

  strange how a religiously minded evangelical may be encouraged to learn greek and hebrew, but a jehovah's witnesses opts to learn english.

  How many have survived COC ?

  i am desperate to get the book coc into the hands of my daughter and her husband, just trying to find a way.. it got me thinking i wonder how many active jws could read that book and still stay in the org ?.

  it had such an impact on my life and others i know.

  i had never even heard of such a book.

  During a talk on apostasy a sister in our old hall said she read the book and it was full of rubbish. Somehow she got away with that.
