There’s “kingdom of the son of his love” Col 1:13 but “Kingdom of God” is the most common.

“Kingdom of Jesus Christ”? Where is that?
Kingdom of God, or kingdom of heaven, or just kingdom. I don’t recall “Kingdom of Jesus Christ”.

Languages, Dialects, Accents
by LoveUniHateExams injust though i'd start a thread devoted to languages, dialects/sociolects and accents, with the idea being that posters can comment on any language, or dialect or accent of any language, on this thread.. any phrases, expressions or idioms that you find interesting are also welcome.
first, the subject of english accents came up on another thread.. the british isles have many different types of accent (although many of the dialects may be dying out), and if i start to take a closer look, i can't help but see 'patterns' .... in received pronunciation of standard english, the letter r is pronounced initially, between vowels, and after consonants, e.g.
red, arrow, break.

Did you get the health and charateristics version that tells you have flappy ears and your pee smells of asparagus? You won’t develop Alzheimer’s but it’s not much comfort because a stroke will get you young anyway?

Morphs law
by _Morpheus inregarding morphs laws and its simple expression: its a direct parallel to godwins law on internet debates.
goodwins law states:.
as an online discussion grows longer, the greater the probability of a comparison involving hitler approaches.

This same suggestion was made some years ago, except I think the suggested name for the new law was slimboyfat’s law.
But Morph’s okay with me.

I took out a loan to pay for an exorcism. If I don’t pay it back I get repossessed. -

Branch Co-ordinators letter re the Australian Royal Commission
by stuckinarut2 inthis letter was posted on the aust and nz facebook group this week.. it is self explanatory!
wow.... it seems to be their attempt at controlling the situation after the arc fallout.. .

So this letter is genuine? I am surprised they would write in such a cavalier way, especially when they realise most things are leaked. Maybe Terry O’Brien was confident that this particular letter would not leak. But why? He is the short JW elder who kept annoying official by saying “sorry I am going to have to repeat myself here”, before repeatedly claiming that shunning is essentially voluntary/self-imposed, wasn’t he?

I would come down on the side of saying this is a fake. Just because it reads so bizarrely and like an opponent of JWs would “want” them to speak. But who can say for sure?
It’s very concerning that convincing forgeries can be so easily produced these days. How are we ever to know what’s real. Not just WT leaks, but all media and news on all subjects. It’s very worrying when you really think about It.
