What doctrines moved closer to Christadelphians? I’m a bit of an expert of Christadelphians these days.
I can’t find “Truth As I See It”, is there a link?
as ive mentioned before i like digging into obscure watchtower characters of the past.

newest mib next for me.
i brought myself up-to-date on the older ones on cable.
here's a trailer:.
Elton John movie Rocket Man - excellent
was always curious of there are any stories or experiences of someone monitoring this site for the purpose of policing their group?.
Minimus still denying he’s a Watchtower plant, I see
just curious if anyone has ever been to an assembly with zero baptisms.
if not, i see that happening soon and cant wait for that awkward day!.
I was at one a few years ago. The assigned speaker still had to give the talk. I thought they could have cut everyone some slack and broke for lunch early.
JWs lack basic common sense. It comes from years of practising obedience without thinking for yourself. Then again, they probably receive instructions from Watchtower to carry on in these circumstances. Watchtower doesn’t like to leave anything to chance, especially when there is a danger local people might make independent decisions that suit their own needs. That sort of madness needs to get stamped out quick sharp.
my judicial committee was set for monday.
the message says to call back asap and that he loves me, but he said it like "i love ya, girl" he never has said that to me like that.
so, i call back and he says i have been a hard person to get a hold of and that confused me because i had not received any calls from him.
Far be it from me to defend scripture, but my understanding is that the NT teaches that Jesus didn’t come to judge when he came to earth to die, but that he would return in the future to judge the living and the dead.
This is a very interesting video.
I wonder, where is the information that he is still a JW? Because his comment along the lines “they call themselves brothers and sisters” indicates to me he may no longer consider himself a JW. Although confusingly, he also says he’s a minister, presumably meaning a JW publisher. I think his status is unclear from this video alone. Is there more information to go on?

Anna Marina is it really necessary to use this posters traumatic experience and plea for understanding to promote your personal ideology?
Iriddle80 explained her experience in terms of her Christian faith and Anna Marina responded by agreeing with Iriddle80’s use of scripture.
It is you who is insisting and promoting your ideology by demanding others not explain their experiences with reference to their faith, stating it is as a “traumatic experience” that many have been through. The demand to leave faith out of it is an ideological position. What’s more, Anna Maria’s perspective is in line with the original poster, and it is you who are using the thread to promote your alternative secular perspective.
are all of the governing .body .members american citizens ?
shouldn`t they at least represent a greater proportion of nations in light of jesus being a saviour of all the world ?.
god loved the world of mankind right ?
Thanks George, that’s interesting. It would be interesting to find out more about Leo Greenlees’ background.

Not all caucasian because of Samuel Herd, of course. Plus there is a pretty funny chapter in Firpo Carr’s book arguing that William Jackson was black even though he looked white.

What's pretty amazing is the lack of Hispanic GB members, despite large numbers of Hispanic JWs in the US. I wonder if there are Hispanic members of the US branch committee.
A lot of it may simply be down to the fact that white western JWs make up the majority of memorial partakers that the GB are still selected from.

Well from a historical theological perspective, Jehovah used mainly Jewish leaders throughout the OT and NT, and Romans 9 says that Jehovah chooses whoever he wishes to fulfil his purpose. Even Acts 10 that extends God’s message to all ethnicities, is followed by chapter 15 where Jews are still in leadership roles. So it’s not necessarily wrong from a biblical perspective that God should use people from one culture for leadership. It’s objectionable from a liberal non-biblical perspective. Not only does the GB fail to be democratic or representative of the people they lead, but their teaching makes a virtue of this fact. In particular their interpretation of the statue of Daniel deplores the weakness of democracy as a system of government because it is responsive the views of ordinary people. The GB believe they comprise a theocracy and are accountable to Jehovah alone, not to a worldwide membership with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
