We walked out of my mom's memorial service

Ray Franz cash pay off...?
by Gill inwhen ray franz left brooklyn, he and his wife were given a $10,000 pay off according to crisis of conscience.. was this an act of christianity or was it a pay off to keep him silent about the 'inner workings of the borg'?.
i wondered this because he put up with a lot of defamatory gossip before, after two years, deciding to write his book?.

I made one rule in my home and expected everyone who stayed or visited follow the same rule. (My dad was the worst offender but even he came around...!)
RESPECT.
Respect the dog - don't kick her or call her bad names. Take her out when she needs to go. Feed her when it's time. (And, of course, the dog was expected to respect the cats. The cats automatically respected the dog for obvious reasons.)
Respect me and my home and everyone else who happened to enter. This meant speech, gestures and behaviors. (No feet on the table, keep glasses off the wood furniture.)
Respect yourself and your body. Eat properly and get enough sleep. Do your homework.
Their room. Well, that was up to them unless it was to the point that might make them ill - it never got that bad. Their room, their rules. My house, my rules.
Special errands and taxi service - respect my time and give me advance notice.
Chores were taken as a group project. I did not pay for chores being done but I did provide an allowance. We all benefit from living here, we all work together to contribute to it's habitableness (but not overdone.) This was respect for the family arrangement.
I was occaisionally guilty of not showing respect sometimes and was called to task for it. Good discussions. Smart kids.
Sticking to the single rule of RESPECT gave us groundwork for negotiations without setting up so many -easily broken - rules.

What would you like to do if you knew it wouldn't kill you?

...or hurt you.. as an example: drive your car off a cliff like in the movie groundhod day, just for the hell of it.. basically something that would normaly kill you or leave you messed up real bad... but in this case you could "reset" all new again.. don't be shy... i won't think your weird if you want to blow your head off just to see what it's like.

I went to the memorial service for Talia Balletti.
by hubert ini sent a pm to one of the forum assistants telling him this, and he said i should post and let everyone know how it went.. i didn't want to do this until mario posted first, because it's about his daughter, not mine.
but, i know all you wonderful people out there are waiting for some news on the memorial service, and i think mario is too grief stricken to be able to write right now.
sometimes these things hit you harder after it's all over, because now you have more time to think about it.
