  Blood - A Balanced View??

  i think that rather than being completely anti-blood or completely accepting of doctor's decisions it is much better to remain guarded with regard to blood transfusions.

  although i recently rescinded my no blood amd, i want to find a way to document that although i will accept blood, my preference is to first work with plasma expanders and the like.

  today a friend of mine died.

  my father (df/ex-elder) was recently terminated from his job of nearly 10 years.

  i don't want to give too much info at this time but am looking for insight, suggestions, comments to help point him in the right direction.

  does anyone have any ideas for a birthday gift/surprise/whatever for a 24 year old?

  my brother turns 24 tomorrow and has never had a family member do anything for his birthday.

  i would like to do something but really have no idea what to do.

  two big events for me today.

  ok maybe they are not so big but they are solid.

  after idly waiting for long, chronic depression to clear, i took two more steps toward growing up and away from the wtbs.
