  I agree 100% that it is not right to have a rule where you need two people. [deleted] As far as not having a head for the household, it might do more harm than good.
  

  Just let me take in this new information and digest it more fully before breathing down my neck for having a doubt every now and then. I have been told so long to place pieces of the puzzle together and to be patient for many years, it will take some time to gather up some sence of direction again.

  BTW this is a very touchy subject for most, and very hard to compromise since it is a detestable sin. So I am truly sorry for any kind of rash judgements that I made about the Silent Lambs Org.

  These sexual preditors have it too easy these days since the United States keeps on protecting the people who are commiting these crimes. True, having the need for two witnesses should never be a rule even if it is in the bible to do so. I doubt that it is even considered a humane or just rule. Some things you just don't consider 100% before dedication.

  The only solution would be to restore a childs faith and to give powers back to the abused with just one witness. The second best thing would be to take away a mans right to be head of the household since most crimes happen under the family roof.

  I am still trying to open up my mind to other solutions so stop questioning me since I didn't come up all the JW rules. I am not aware of all the child abuse cases and you never know who to trust anymore on the internet, it is mainly an individual struggle to find truth.

  Have you ever heard of the word tact and consideration? Most posters dislike my current faith but feel sorry for people who have been mislead.

  Communication is the key. Parents should not have to be the main educators for children since they are so overprotective in the first place they should know that knowledge is half the battle, to tell the kids everything no matter how gross. The whole system of the two witness rule along with the head of the household should be shot down. There should be a book available with what a child should avoid on day one with the schools. Before the schools there should be a law on mothers going to work or doing other mundane things to keep away from child care.

  Further action to stop the cycle of this sickness:

  Brainwashing clinics since this is a disease. [Or some other form of punishment that would let the crime go unpunished]. I still think that pedophile gays should just go to jail and see what it is like on the other side of this crime.

  Let me rephrase The brainwashing sentance. This crime has to be detected as quick as any other crime, it should not go unpunished. So knowing that.. Saying "Or some other form of punishment that would let the crime go unpunished just doesnt make sence..I am surprised you all didn't see that.

  Communication should be the key... No responce to that?

  Mothers caring for her kids and not relying on other people to watch them. Is there something wrong with that since that is what most mothers do in the animals kingdom. I am not saying to depend on Welfare, but if someone has a child they should be watching them or at least knowing who they stay with. That is the solution to this whole child abuse topic.

  Yes, kind of like the whole made for freedom deal. Well I am glad I came back to visit after so long. I never like having words put in my mouth with each and every meeting so I will try to think more of my own words next time I post or even start a post.

  I can see what you are saying now, it is not a good idea to be babes to badness since there must be a way to tell if a sin is bad or not in the first place.

  Well what can one Jehovah's Witness do about changing the whole two witness rule along with the head of the family rule? Even with the rule changed what can prevent a child abuse case from starting since this type of sin is liked to a disease? Doesn't it all come down to who you trust? And when a child abuser is caught why not make an example of them and send them all to a brainwash clinic so it can break the cycle?

  That's not something I would of done, forgiving a person for a sin too gross to even talk about. It is a shame people stoop to that level and I think the molester should of been given time to think about it, in jail with some even sicker inmates. Really, it should of been a jail term for the guy but since the crime is likened to a disease, I would hope for some kind of brainwashing clinic on the way out of the jail cell.

The book Fatherless America asserts: "The escalating risk of childhood sexual abuse in our society stems primarily from the growing absence of married fathers and the growing presence of stepfathers, boyfriends, and other unrelated or transient males."

  Well thats what the Bible says:

  "Certainly if anyone does not provide for those who are his own, and especially for those who are members of his household, he has disowned the faith and is worse than a person without faith."?1 Tim. 5:8.

  Kind of like providing materials to the household, this scripture was shown to me by a bible student boxer friend of mine and the main reason he still boxes.

  Here is some proof that I am not always right:

  So I am sorry for using too much Watchtower information and I no longer think I have all the information needed since I am not the greatest teacher of the bible, maybe someday I can be, the subject of child abuse will never be an easy topic to discuss and it should be kept in the family, the leader of man would be Jesus Christ, and not an elder right?

  I don't have all the answers that are being asked left and right, all that I set out to do was post the proactive steps, which I have done that the WTBTS has provided. So I have accomplished my goal.

  Rule #2

  If a family leader abused or did not act upon the security of his child then he would have to answer to Jesus Christ.
