What sports are considered violent and forbidden by Jehovah?

i'm a bible student and the i've been told that this issue depends on my conscience.. .

i am a jiu jitsu student and have been for a 4 years.

it's more of a sport.

Would the sport involve a choke hold? If so you may want to look up the scripture that Mr.Vanzie took to heart in his letter to me. Just like a boxer can knock out another boxer, a choke hold could have long lasting damage.

I am guessing that is why it is considered a self defence sport, since the choke hold would be a weapon of choice.

No doubt that is where my quote is from... that is why I posted them all here for you to read. Where do you see the twists? Jesus Christ showed us all how to evade evil men is that not true? If a government asked you to go kill another man would you do so? If you had the wrong government under dictatorship rule like Hitler would you obey men rather than God? Where is the twist you speek about kind sir?

I am calling your subject a big bag of nothing since most of the posters are all ExJW's... or against JW's. They should not be posting... only the WTBTS should since they are the only ones that can give those important steps to (everyone) in the family.

In no way am I keeping silent with child molestation sir, and I am not in an evil Sect or whatever else my religion used to be called. I gave out my personal experience as well as my Bible based knowledge on child abuse prevention. My post on a bag of nothing was for the topic starter since the quote was in fact his not my own quote.

For now it will be in the "Child Abuse" area of the forum. I hope you can convince me that it should be changed to "Friends" or "Family" section. I really, really do hope you can convince me that a change is deserved.

Where else would it belong? Would it belong in that big bag of nothing... or would all in the family be able to know how to prevent child molestation..

With regards to the outbreak of the [deleted] pedophile in the Governing Body being taken out, that is much better than most religions who accept such ones.

I am very proud of my religion and was told to post some info on proactive steps and I have done so, and we can all agree that the info that the Jehovah's Witnesses governing body has printed for years and years can be put to action in these last days of lawlessness.

Did you not read about the Dateline statements here? Why would an elder of all people not comply with the laws of the government? How many other religions disfellowship members and higher ups when there is proof?

In a written statement from the Jehovah's Witness headquarters, the church said it condemns child abuse and does not tolerate such actions.
It continued: ''If the elders learn of an accusation of child molestation, they do all that they reasonably can to protect the safety of the victim and other children, including complying with laws that mandate ministers to report to the proper authorities. This is even done when a child is the only one to allege the abuse.
''The victim and the victim's family also have the absolute right to report the matter to the authorities. Therefore, parents and others who are aware of the abuse are not hindered by the elders from reporting the situation to the authorities.''

This thred is about prevention and not about what should of been done since the best time to find evidence is when the crime accurs. I am sure I can bring a young adult or an adult to a tv show as well no matter what religion they attended.

I am sure that the Silent Lambs Crew are not looking for ways to prevent child abuse and are only looking for JW cases of child abuse for propaganda. When a crime happens, it should be made known to the authorities... that is why ALL JW's pay taxes in the first place.

The only reason the Witnesses might need more protection from what is bad is because they are taught to be babes to badness... and that might be why more pedophiles look for JW children since it is a control issue.

But look! , I have contributed my time to show nine subjects found in the JW web site, and many issues from the Awake to help the Silent Lambs Crew learn how to prevent child molestation... but I doubt they will take the time to read it since it is from JW's.

Gulf states, To give advice or suggestions from experience is far different than quoting sources such as the WT publications. I have often quoted Paul's words at Romans 2:21, "...do you, however the one teaching someone else not teach yourself?..."

I gave suggestions from both sources if you read all that I posted. Some advice was in fact from my experiences. Were you able to use the suggestions that I stated which are proactive and available to all on this thred? According to some people on this forum, they would rather throw it all away and burn those suggestions which would be wrong according to those who follow the guidelines of the Bible.

"Jehovah himself gives wisdom; out of his mouth there are knowledge and discernment. And for the upright ones he will treasure up practical wisdom; for those walking in integrity he is a shield." (Prov. 2:6, 7)

All should know that God is the wisest and able to give advice to us humans, and that is where this information is from.

One poster even said that I have not added to the discussion, and he was the one that asked for my advice, so it seems. And this person will not even tell me his faith to boot... could he be ashamed of telling us all.

As far as this topic goes, I really was hoping that you could me show steps that are being taken to clean up the mess your organization's belief structure has caused.

I can now understand that your main hope is trying to prevent me from showing the obvious truths instead of trying to help people prevent child molestation, you should be ashamed of yourself for such a ploy. What has your religion... if you have one, done to prevent child abuse.

My religion follows the word of God to the T, it has never changed and has never supported gays and lesbians like Disney has done sponsering gay and lesbian pride with a parade. Being gay or lesbian can be catagorized as another form of gross sexual sin much like child molestation. You don't see any animals doing that. Don't respond to my posts any longer Brad, I can't stand hypocracy. You never really wanted me to post steps in the first place.
