  tired of listening to your local elders giving the "special" talk ever year after the memorial?

  well don't worry, as of next year we will be spicing things up for your enjoyment.. not only will we be having the talk before the memorial (i know, wild huh), but we will be treating you to the talk via video starring our famous speakers from bethel so you can see how a talk should be given (after all bethel does boast the best speakers in any country, right?!).

  here's a copy of the text from our latest letter as i'm sure that with so much excitement you won't believe it at first!.

  Hmmmm. Can they really speak with a clear conscience on that subject ? After all they predicted:

  “Millions now Living will Never Die (1920) ....now they are pretty much all dead.

  ” If you are a young person today you can be sure that you will never grow old” (1969, Awake -quote from memory).........Hey WT, we are getting old!

  some people say this decade is the most advantage and so they are happiest in the present.

  some long for the good old days before cell phones and computers.

  if you could live in an era or decade , when would it be?.

  I guess we all enjoy the time when we were young . My decade would span late sixties- early seventies. Wonderful music, long hair, we had the comforts of the modern world with less technology.

  Hell, it we even fun being in what we called “the truth “ , for me anyway.

  I don’t think the instructions were to literally check in every day, but they have said that group leaders should stay in touch and ensure they are doing ok.. That seems a proper thing to do.

  she should be grateful. All my wife has had is a text from elder asking if she had field service to report!

  I told her to sarcastically reply saying “ Have they not told you that F/ministry is cancelled “

  A chance for the unrighteous?

  the witnesses teach that the "unrighteous" are brought back to life in order to learn about god during the 1000-year reign.

  i don't think that's a bible teaching, for the following reason:.

  1) no verse says that.

  If the ‘goats’ were the really evil people of this world, that might make a bit of sense. However, to be a ‘goat’ in the WT teaching, one simply has not accepted the beliefs of the WTS. Think of all the selfless individuals who are right now serving the community in these Covid infested days. All of them are due to become “manure on the ground “ , unless they are dubs ,which is unlikely.

  Back in the day they , me too I confess, used to love the scripture Zechariah 14 : 12 “ There will be a rotting away of their flesh, their eyes will rot in their sockets, their tongues will rot in their moths”

  That was if they did not listen to us at the door.

  Now, I don’t know where Zechariah was coming from, but I am sure it could not be that !

  prudent decision even if the pandemic is over you are going to have people that.

  lost jobs can't afford to go.

  not allowed any vacation time rest of year.

  I don’t know? In my experience it costs them a lot to hire the facilities.. Do they still have donation boxes? Or credit card donation desks?

  Have You Isolated Yourself Because of the Virus 🦠?

  some people i know have not gone out of their houses in weeks.

  some will walk near their homes and run right back in.

  meanwhile, i go food shopping and i see tons of people, many with masks and gloves on..

  Much the same here...U K is in lockdown mode so there is nowhere to go even if you were to go out. The rules are that you stay indoors ( at least people of a surtain age)

  I appreciate those essential services still working, not only the health workers , God bless them, but dustmen, grocery deliveries, power workers etc . Where would we be without them?

  Are’nt you the creative people!

  Me, I have just been sitting at home, watching some tv, reading some books and old magazines, sat outside away from people whenever I could and playing the net of course. .......looking forward to when it ends.

  They dont have to seach for me .I am well known to them but they never speak "spiritually" to me, just small talk. Surely being inactive means you have stopped reporting, not attending. Come to think of it, if this virus thing goes on long enough , they will all be inactive.

  They speak as though it is all about US ,why we left. They can't imagine it is because of THEM and their teachings
