I am sure that 99% of dubs. won’t understand it. The main parts are much the same taking their stand against blood .I don’t see anywhere that gives the option to refuse any blood fraction at all. I know some that would do that.There will be a slightly different one referring to UK law.
fourteen years ago i started a thread on how horrible my disfellowshipped cousin was treated after his mom passed away and the terrible actions on the part of the elders at the funeral home.. 67. horrible conduct by congregation elders at my cousin's funeral.............. well, here we are 14 years later, and things haven't changed!.
my aunt ( who is my disfellowshipped cousin's grandmother ) was placed in home hospice care.
the nurse told her daughters ( who are jehovah's witnesses and live with their mother ) that their mom probably has 2 days left to live and that they should call the immediate family.. my disfellowshipped cousin and his sister show up in the early morning.
That elder is way out of line , whether you consider it from a normal human aspect or even the Watchtower’s own guidelines.
“Necessary family business “ is the phrase used that allows interaction in these circumstances, plus common sense although some of them don’t have that.
On the better side, I have seen a couple of WT deaths in which the rules were relaxed to allow a d/f child or grandchild to be there and to mingle with us - until after the funeral anyway.
any comments on the 04/2022 question from readers on divorce and remarriage.. "if a christian divorces his wife without scriptural grounds and then marries another person, how does the congregation view the previous marriage and the new marriage?".
why does that even matter how the congregation views anything?
they should be minding their own business.. if people move to a different area, the congregation wouldn't even know about.. (if a guy remarries a woman with the same first name, she would end up with the same name and no one would know).

either you think the governing body was correct giving direction to be fully vaccinated and do you will keep getting the boosters, or.... if you don’t think the boosters are safe and you decide not to keep getting them then you are admitting that the direction was wrong.. if the direction was indeed harming brothers and sister who kept going to get these injections because of the covid updates then this is a huge wake up call?.
how could this direction from the gb who are i doubt jehovah give such harmful direction?.

it is in fact what i so desperately want for my son ashton and my baby girl honey bee, to be lovers of truth and grow up to be a loyal servants of jehovah god and his son, jesus christ.

Speaking as one that has been vaccinated with Pfizer and boosted , and who will continue to take any that are offered …… I don’t give a toss what the GB of the Watchtower might say about it. I just use my own common sense and go to the real experts for medical advice…
my personal opinion is someone that's gonna rule in heaven, has to prove himself on earth before.

In the modern world on JWs , you just have to be a baptised publisher and start telling others that you are . On April 4th you take the emblems. That’s it, no one is allowed to question your calling…… out loud at least !
thank you very much atlantis for all your hard work and for emailing a letter written by the watchtower (coming from the german branch possibly) to be read out to congregations by elders.. there is so much wrong in this letter.
maybe some of it is due to being lost in translation but since the watchtower is predominantly english, it doesn't seem likely.

As far outside the Watchtower as I am, I do not see this as “cashing in” . They are doing what would be expected of a Mother organisation, in caring for survivors and burying the dead.
They can’t help sounding cliched, it is all they know how to speak .We would criticise if they did nothing.
now covid restrictions are over, they're pushing on with watchtower museums at many locations through out the world.. looks to me as if they'll be pretty boring.
a few old bibles and photos of the witnessing work from way back when.. one things for sure is they won't include anything relating to constantly changing doctrines or have libraries full of old publications that have since been swept under the carpet..
At a previous video I was quite impressed by a museum display of a village in Bible times ..The idea being to put you in the surroundings that Jesus would have known.
Mind you , New York State is a long way from here so it would not benefit us.
