if i was a jw, and covid put and end to the door to door work for two years, and kingdom halls closed, it would get me to re-visit and think about the stupidity of the overlapping generation, and how they extended the deadline for armageddon to 2072.

Door to door is surely planned to start again once Covid is over. It is too important to their movement to not do so. Believe it or not , there are some who really want to get back to it
Trolley work is very visible but only a few per day get to do it, some like my family used to find it was sewn up by the in-crowd and Pioneers. The bulk of the “work” was door to door.
This is definitely a grey area. A lot will depend on the circumstances, how the remaining Witness presents it to his BOE and their attitude toward him.
2 examples. A) The Witness works in a large factory and the d/f one is his foreman. They do not socialise and rarely speak about none work matters. That would probably be o k .
B) witness works for another one , window cleaning together all day. Either one is d/f. They spend all day on the jobs or in the van, take breaks and lunch together. He would probably have to get other employment.

Alan Feuebacher used to post here as AlanF. In my early days of board membership he was my role model. The finest intellect that I came across in the exJW world. I could not agree with him on everything but I respected him.

quite bizarrely, there are people trying their level best to blur the lines between man and woman, male and female.. so, i thought it a fairly good idea to list the differences, on average, between men and women.. ok, starting with the most obvious .... women have a vulva, a vagina, and internal gonads (ovaries); men have a penis and external gonads (testes).. women get pregnant, give birth and breastfeed their babies; men do none of those things.. men are taller than women.. men have greater upper-body strength than women.
men have greater bone density and percentage of muscle mass than women.. women live longer than men (this is partly due to life choices and behaviour and partly due to genetics).. men have higher testosterone levels than women.. men heal more quickly from physical injury than women.. the sexual dynamics between men and women tend to be different, too.
re sexual selection, women typically have their choice of the most suitable men.

I have just watched a I T V documentary “The Real Manhunt: The NightStalker “ This was screened over a week ago but is still available on Sky catchup. ( UK only I guess)
The interesting point for us was that after his arrest , one his neighbours says what a nice Man he seemed and “one of Jehovah’s Witnesses “
In fact he was apparently just associated and his wife was the dub, but it shows how he was viewed in the community.
