  I was Dubsnubbed this past week.

  just this past week i went to see a jbub relative that was in the hospital.

  there was an elder there from her hall.

  he was probably there for support but also to make sure no blood was used.

  Happened to me today too..... must be catchy! This dub guy walked past and I went up to say hello and he completely ignored me, I said Hi again and he just kept looking at some risque birthday cards.

  I said: "I didn't know you had gone deaf!" still no reply, just kept looking at the cards. So i just stood nice and close and didn't say anymore, just stood there. The next thing he tried to get away. He had to push past and I stood my ground, but he couldn't even say "excuse me" he just shoved past and fled the store!

  could i walk into a K/Hall and get literature?

  just wondering!.

  i know many would say ''why the hell would you do that?".

  just wondering if i could actually get hard copies of some stuff for a 'donation' and not have to hunt it down.... mind you, i'd have a hard time making myself look conservative!.

  These "experiences" are always changed a bit so as to have greater impact... seen it plenty of times at rehersals for circuit and district assemblies. The c/o and d/o want it to sound over the top so they suggest "enhancements" not lying, but stretching it a bit...

  well, .... although i have stated in this forum several times, and probably also other people stated about it, i would like to say again now.. as for the current governing body members, they are the "fake anointed.".

  Point taken. I am glad that you see it for what it is. Yes, I was there with you believing, promoting, defending, justifying... then it all came tumbling down. The most recent crop of GB would have to be a joke. They were too young in the borg R&F mind to be up there with the old originals, but what else can they do? They have to keep it going, move the goal posts and keep people sucked in as much as possible.

  When I was in, my then friends and I used to go away for very drunken weekends. No one fessed up and most became elders etc, with 2 becoming co's. I don't think they ever had their "sin" dealt with, yet they would cut the nuts from anyone who sins!

  Tell them you are suffering from a clinical depression and that when you are able you will be back....

  My advice to you is to read... get a couple of so called apostate books, Crisis of Conscience being the first and main one by Ray Franz, then get a copy of another book called The Gentile Times Reconsidered by Carl Olaf Jonnsen. The Four Presidents wont hurt either. Get the other side of the borg coin and have some great reasons to stay away.

  The friends and activities take care of themselves when the time is right. Your routine will change and you will find other things soon enough.

  Embrace change, and be thankful that you blinkers fell off!

  Watchtower BREAKDOWN on the highway to Paradise

  all of us at one time or another have owned a automobile that was a real lemon!.

  the car may have been shiny, stylish and totally cool-looking....the only problem was it was a piece of crap.. repair after repair after repair in a never ending spiral of maintenance kept it in the shop more than it was on the road!.

  you may have really loved that car--it might have been a classic---but--it proved to be totally useless for basic transportation because:.
