Tying my moms belt to a chair while she was giving a talk, and her standing up and taking the chair with her. Laughing my ass off with the rest of the congregation. Getting the most terrible spanking you could ever imagine afterwards for doing it. 6 years old.

I had a regular pioneer buddy while I was a JW that I loved doing field service with. He would prop a Watchtower up in his windshield and we would just spend the morning driving to the top of a hill, putting the car in neutral and timing how fast we could coast to the bottom over and over till break time.

being in "the truth" forever, i keep (frustratingly) finding myself humming kingdom songs unintentionally.
it frustrates me when i find myself doing it!.
so today i got this song in my head, and couldn't get it unstuck, so i decided to write alternate lyrics to it... when i get that tune in my head now, i'll have words that work!

when i came to the realisation that my whole religious upbringing was in question and i was led to this site, i immediately wanted to get involved - i could see that there was a lot of caring, spiritual people here that had created an amazing community and i wanted to be a part of that community (to release some pent up feelings and to maybe help others in some way) but having read that many of you guys lurked for months and in some cases years before you finally posted - i'm intrigued as to why?????
was it selfishness - couldn't bring yourself to commit and be a part of the community, you were just content to observe?
was it laziness?
Could be that some consider conversing honestly about the Witness cult to be taking the plunge from doubting to apostasy.
It could also be that they are happy to just read. Either way they are committing the unforgivable sin and will be doomed to eternal destruction. Just kidding lurkies.

Do you remember a CO called Bernie Goro?
Yeah, I remember him as a visiting CO in our congregation when I was a kid. His big joke in a talk was that towards the end of the month everyone in the congregation became 'Cat' publishers because all the publishers would say "I have to get meow'r" (my hour). The Kingdom Hall was in stitches for months over that gem.
When my family and I moved to western Canada he told us the next time he would see us would be in paradise. That was 20 years ago. I'm not holding my breath Goro.
