My Book of Bible Stories
by Taylor S. ini just got my hands on a copy of my book of bible stories ... (1978).
at first i was excited when a friend pulled it out of his bag, said he'd gotten it as a kid.
then i started flipping through, looking at the pictures, feeling the memories spin in my brain.

When I was a little kid I used to tell all my teachers and the kids I was a JW. They all thought it was nuts. When I grew up and started having doubts I cooled off on telling people because deep down I realized there was something wrong with it. Now eveyone at my work knows im an ex-dub because I am always on this site, lol.

I had doubts for over ten years, as soon as I objectively looked at the facts though I quit entirely and disassociated. Took ten years of my life to get the courage to read "apostate" stuff.

i believe its effed up my life.
no sports, no extracurricular activities, small amount of friends, and im like totally innocent compared to my friends i have now.
