  i've sort of known that she had some jw connections, but i had never broached the subject with her as the timing never was right.

  well, today i finally managed to work it in, after hearing her talking on the phone with somebody about the memorial.

  we had two congregations meet and the hall still wasn't full!

  Sometimes I just sit back and just feel so grateful that I don't have to be a part of something I don't believe in. Most normal 'worldings' don't realize just how liberating it is to be able to think for yourself because they always have been able to. I love it!

  :IMHO, that was totally unessecary to the discusion and condescending on your part.

  I agree, the whole point of this thread was to get creationist's to explain their views, no need to trash them when they speak up, even if we don't agree with em. At least he is trying to explain himself.

  i just received an email that said mj attended the memorial in solvang last night.

  he attended with his mom and dad and also his son.

  this info was forwarded to me via 2 others but i saw the original email so i think it's probably true.

  Why the announcement change?

  i have been thinking about why the change in the way df?d and da?d are announced, then it hit me.

  i know in my area more and more are choosing to leave on their own terms (da).

  i believe the "fds" are starting to see this more and more, when this happens, some "faithful" will be more prone to question, "why?
