I guess if there was any information supporting this statement it would have appeared by now. Figures. The only numbers I've ever seen related to mediam income and home ownership and the Witnesses didn't do too bad. Not at the top, but not at the bottom either.

WTS requesting insurance checks? Verification?
by EscapedLifer1 ini have read comments on several threads about the wts policy on asking folks whose homes have been repaired/rebuilt by jw volunteers to sign over their insurance checks to the wts?.
is there any kind of paper proof of this policy anywhere?

at one point friday, the evacuation was interrupted briefly when school buses rolled up so some 700 guests and employees from the hyatt hotel could move to the head of the evacuation line much to the amazement of those who had been crammed in the stinking superdome since last sunday.. how does this work?

talesin you're being civil and I appreciate that. The truth is that after the hurrican EVERYONE thought New Orleans had dodged the bullet. The mayor, the governor, and tens of thousands of inhabitants. Obviously they all thought the levee was going to hold, otherwise they'd have been running. So then, out of the entire population President Bush was the only one that was supposed to be prescient enough to know that the levee wasn't going to hold? All of these threads are simply opportunities for dedicated Bush bashers to bash some more, any excuse is a good excuse. I think it's reprehensible.
One other thing, my understand is that the section of levee that gave way that caused the real problem was not one of the sections they intended to repair. -
