jws use magazines etc for studying the bible; cws use the bible itself for reading.

jws stay focused on lots of rules; cws focus on the principles of love, joy etc.

How did you come to JWD ?

i came to jwd back in 2001, i was under a different name then.

i do not remember if i was introduced by gumby who is a dear friend of mine or if i had found this site through freeminds.org i was when i first came here pretty bitter as i went through pure hell with the jw faith and my family who are jw.. i was ready for a fight, and ready to rip anyones head off if they crossed me wrong.

i was bitter at the religion for almost fooling me twice as i was a mormon in my teenage years.

It is pretty cool how many of us came here with the same gut feelings and in the same way found this site. I have learned a great deal here, especially how to handle someone who is still in. There are indeed some very good writers here and knowledgeable people here that are only glad to help a fellow leaver get the info they need in order to make their walk out of the borg. I for one am very grateful for those. I don't have a lot of training from the borg because I found out before being baptised. But this is a great site and Simon works his butt off to keep this site and for him I have only a great deal of thanks.

how does wts feel about working for any federal, state or local government?

i would imagine that would be frowned on, even if it is "non-violent".

let me start off by saying i dont believe in astrology and most certainly not horoscopes.

having said that, i have often considered the real possibility that the time and season of the year we are born in can dramatically influence our pre-natal development and the resulting personality, i dont think this has anything to do with "stars" or cosmology, but we do know that babies born in certain seasons or months are more prone to certain illnesses, temperaments etc.. i'm an aries and had a really lousy relationship with a "cancer" for many years.

she always pointed out that all of the compatibility charts state that aries and cancers are fundamentally incompatible and it turned out....she was right!!

Is there anthropological evidence proving the Nephilim's existence?

i've had this question is my mind for a while now, but has there been any skeletal remains discovered that could prove the existence of the nephilim?.

there's so many unanswered questions about these giants - first of all, were they really hybrids?.

secondly, if the demons could materialise and procreate, how do we not know that they gave their children the same reproductive powers?.

Today I am much calmer and more relaxed than then. There is not much that can make me upset and I have gotten over the lies I was taught. I believe in God and Christ and have a deep passion for the life Christ gave for me. Today I am at peace with myself and my faith.
