  no i haven't read the replies to my last post although i'm finding it hard to resist.. but let me just add some things.

  there is no doubt that some of you 'apostates but you don't even know it' thought you have given some very clever respones.. just to clarify, i've had my share of the world and i'm glad i'm out of it, you however are hanging around on a jw site this is my first and last day of looking on here - and i'm only on here to wnd you lot up, .

  how easy was it really - i'm off sick, how many of you just haven't got anything better to do.

  First they say they have not read the replies and then in the very next sentence say given cleaver responses. Now I don't know about you all but this shows me this person is a liar. I guess this is typical for JW's to be liars.

  First of all an apostate according to scripture is someone who left God, I have not left God and many here also have not left God just the organisation. That's one of the problems of the JW's. They say we have accurate knowledge of the scriptures but then you turn this around by saying if you leave the WTBS you leave God. Sorry but this is an inaccurate accusation.

  I was never a baptised witness, but was involved through family that are JW. I don't do drugs and I don't sleep around either. I have morals and values that come from upbringing and not the JW religion. In the book of Matthew is talks about judging others and it says if you judge someone you are putting yourself in that same judgement. Think about that Mr self righteous.

  For you to even come here, you are going against what your society is teaching you isn't it ? So tell me just what makes you any different than anyone here ? I don't see any. My best advice to you is to deep think yourself and maybe just maybe you might see the real light and not some bunch of made up bull-crap.

  would the married prefer to be single and the single married or are they happy as they are?

  so, my niece is getting married.

  this is on the still-jws-side of my family.

  and my oldest sister, her mother, just told one of my other sisters (i have three sisters and two brothers) that she wanted to invite me, but didn`t think it was any point, because "i hate them"...and i wonder: from where did they get that idea?

  JW's ruin my dinner.

  i took my family to red lobster tonight and shortly after we were seated ( it was about 5 pm- early) a large party came in and took up two tables next to us.

  one young woman had a very loud laugh and because of that i kept looking at their table.

  then i noticed a young black couple with a toddler- then i noticed all the men had suits and ties- then i noticed three single men were sitting together and three single women next to them- and finally one young couple that i decided were married.

  Good mourning doll,

  I was not agreeing with the faith or saying that how the JW acts is a good thing by any means. But I was in the Borg and I can recall many many times JW's making remarks to things going on outside of their organisation about how the society was right.

  Besides how can we say we are any different if we act just like them ? I believe it only makes them stronger. I still believe that it is kindness that conquers all things. And if you are an ex dub acting out in a manner in which I spoke of earlier then it just proves everything they believe.

  One time we had a meet-up of ex-jw's at a local tavern a few years ago. Well we were all blasting the Society and talking about how stupid we had been as JW's and we were all having a grand time. There was about 12 of us. Well we noticed at another table there was some very dressed up people staring at us like we were demon worshippers. So we all started looking at them and finally one of the guys at our table asked them "Are you Jehovah's Witnesses?" in a friendly but loud voice. Well they jumped out of their chairs and ran to the Hostess and next we saw them they were seated clear across the tavern at a secluded table all whispering and looking at us. Well we all lifted our beers and gave them a nice loud toast to being blind, all the time laughing our butts off. We had a wonderful time and those dumb people really believed we were the devils pawn.

  We were very please to put on a good show for those bible thumping JW who sat so bold and confident of their righteousness.

  I can understand the way people feel about the JW's and I understand the hurt that many go through when they come out. But it is actions and attitudes like this that keeps them in their faith rather than come out because it just help them set their beliefs. I believe it is by kindness, being polite and treating them just as myself a human being. When I treat them with respect I get much farther in discussing their false beliefs than I do when I am angry or rude. I can just picture those people sitting there and saying to each other "YEP" Jehovah was right when he said we would be persecuted"

  Sorry but I just don't agree with this type of mentality and level of respect.
